Weird, I know a lot of blacks who are now considered white for adhering to these customs. I guess they are considered trans-racial?

If people can choose to do something, than it's not racial (or immutable.) The same way a lot of whites have become buddhist or how blacks now wear pants, as opposed to their African ancestors.
