I agree. There are bigger battles. If we want to open up the country, we are going to have to pick and choose. If you have the ability to fight it, GREAT! We love you for it.

But Trump is right to not battle on this. This is not the hill many of us want to die on. We are fighting to open back up at all in some states!!, to go back to school, to be able to attend church. Blue states like mine require masks as a prerequisite to opening back up. No masks, no job (where I work) I have no intention of losing my job. Why should I lose money and position that I worked hard to get? And I don’t want to lose any more of my town’s businesses because of my governor’s stupidity.

I frankly don’t want Trump to waste his energy on this issue alone but save it for things like mail-in voting, the 2nd amendment, immigration, and protecting the unborn. Those are fights me must win!

Although I don’t like this stupid mask deal, if it gets my town open and our kids back in school, we can “live” to fight another day.

Know that we are cheering for those of you with energy and opportunity to fight it!
