That's no way to treat the future President of the United States.

191
Raindrops1984 191 points ago +193 / -2

I would love a General Flynn/GEOTUS Jr. ticket in 2024. I normally don’t like political dynasties, but he’s cut his teeth in politics now and has legitimate merit in his own right.

140
JudicialDredd 140 points ago +143 / -3

I always hear this "political dynasty" like it's a bad thing. Plenty of dynasties built pretty rad shit. Uplifted humanity and defeated countless evils. Don Trump Jr is our only hope after daddy Trump's 4th term.

95
Raindrops1984 95 points ago +97 / -2

I just don’t like the Bush and Clinton dynasties. Too few families have controlled America for way too long.

105
IntrepidBurger 105 points ago +106 / -1

Yeah, people look at two data points and draw a pattern.

It's not dynasties that suck, it's the Bushes and the Clintons that suck.

56
ClownTamer 56 points ago +56 / -0

That’s what another user made me realize. With Jr, I’d mostly support him out of trust. Trust here matters more than anything. I won’t vote for someone I think can be bought off.

Ron Paul...

17
bill_in_texas 17 points ago +17 / -0

I voted for Ron Paul several times. He thought having the best, most sensible policies was enough. It's not. You have to have the best ideas AND be a mean mofo that doesn't take shit from anyone. Cue Trump.

Ron Paul was too nice and isn't capable of the savagery necessary to actually win.

13

5
ClownTamer 5 points ago +5 / -0

Seems like Trump’s been grooming and positioning him for it this entire time too. He seems to work more closely with his father on things, he represents him more on TV and the internet, he even made at least one appearance on Crowder. He’d still have access to Trump obviously and all his resources and connections. Seems like a genuine guy too. So far to me, he seems like the one that Trump himself wants to be the next president more than anything else.

Would admittedly be funny to see the media blasting the Trump name for 16 years straight. He could be going into his second term after Trump and they’d still say he had a 1% chance of winning.

We have seen behaviors out of Jr already.

As long as he can prove that he works hard and puts America first there isn’t much else I care about. Try to say that about any other recently politician before Trump.

The founding fathers didn't want runaway political dynasties, like a defacto monarchy. However, if they wanted to prevent any son from ever being president after his father, they could have simply made it illegal. They didn't.

My rankings would be:

  1. Donald Jr

  3. Eric or Tiffany
  4. Eric or Tiffany
  5. Ivanka (she should be the one to run all of the family businesses when Donald himself does not run them because apparently Trump groomed her the most at that).

I say the same thing. I love the guy but my wife doesn't for some reason and she can't even really articulate why.

I think Junior has the most charisma of any GEOTUSkin, outside of Barron of course but we'll need someone to keep the seat warm before we can formally crown Barron king.

I think Junior is being slow played into the spotlight already and I like what he has to say.

His appearance on The View illustrated he is not easily rattled, and he seems able to handle adversity with the similar "water off a duck's back" style as his father which, IMO, is key.

We need someone that has the chops and the chutzpah to handle the position. It'll be a baptism by fire regardless. The only one I see prepared for it is Junior. Seems like a dyed in the wool conservative too, but I'll admit that is based mostly on image. I have not done enough of a deep dive on him to say he definitely is one.

I know he's a fan of the first two amendments, so he can party with me any day.

I think my wife just doesn't find him attractive and that is shading her judgment, but I've not got much evidence to support that.

If any of our lady Pedes want to chime in and tell me their opinion I'd love to hear it.

If any have gotten this far and share or understand my wife's perspective on him, and can clue me in, I'd love to hear your perspective.

4
PraiseBeToScience 4 points ago +4 / -0

They should be the ones targeted. They are the communists necrotizing this country.

Time to debride.

1

When the companies are either broken up or regulated, the gravy train will stop and the employees will take a big financial hit.

1

And then what? You think these fucking subhumans are going to change? They will just get rehired at the new company. Or they'll just live on welfare and unemployment.

Being a penniless unemployed faggot didn't slow down a single communist dickshit in Seattle. If anything it will make them worse because now they'll cry "I can't afford my rent we need UBI".

These vermin aren't paid activists, these are soulless robots disguised as humans that are fully operating on their own psychotic leftist programming at this point.

'harmful false information', what a load of crap.

If that was a bannable criteria and was being upheld, CNN, MSNBC, WaPost, Huffpo, NYT, and practically all fake-news media and affiliated journalists would not exist on either youtube, twitter, or FB/insta.

They are targetting true information they don't want widely known.

13
cccpneveragain 13 points ago +13 / -0

They've invented "hate speech" and given it the definition of anything that even marginally supports Trump as President of the United States or even hints to anything but complete and total acceptance of the liberal agenda.

It's just a matter of time until they have their Reddit-style mass ban. For now they are taking it slow and quiet.

4
Modus_Pwninz 4 points ago +5 / -1

And yet STILL, Trump has not made a move on declaring social media publishers and removing their legal protections.

That's all it takes. Do it, and this all stops. They will have no choice. They know they can't survive without those protections, yet they are acting as publishers. This isn't controversial, it's obvious. Who decides information is harmful and/or false? The editor! The publisher!

1
victory2024 1 point ago +2 / -1

Yes he has. In the last couple of months, he issued an executive order telling the DOJ to draft new rules governing section 230 liability. He also instructed agencies like the FTC to look at this issue.

1
Modus_Pwninz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Instructing people to "look into it" isn't action.

It's the sternly worded letter of policy making.

Just fucking do what needs to be done.

1
victory2024 1 point ago +2 / -1

What exactly is "doing what needs to be done"? The President can't literally order social media to do what he wants. We've already seen that the courts are eager to immediately block any executive action by Trump, so it's important to make sure the action is done legally. This means agencies need to draft new rules in compliance with the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), otherwise they will be overturned.

That said, Trump should have started this process years ago, because I'm afraid it's too late to really make much of a difference at this point, especially relating to the 2020 election.

1
PraiseBeToScience 1 point ago +1 / -0

The Sun article attached to this post is also factually incorrect by a glaring omission. It fails to mention that the Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine had to retract the articles about the bogus Surgisphere study which caused FDA concerns in the first place. It also fails to mention particulars of the new study that found that HCQ had cut the mortality rate in half without any patients suffering heart arrhythmias. Finally, I think there is no proof that Trump's promotion of using HCQ caused shortages of the drug, which is referenced in said article. It's more likely that shortages were caused by worldwide use of the drug, as well as production problems arising in Chyna. Fake news.

The agency also warned doctors against prescribing the drugs in combination with remdesivir, the lone drug currently shown to help patients with COVID-19.

Even the article about the censorship of the HCQ narrative is censoring the HCQ narrative. remdesivir is not the "lone drug", that's the point - HCQ has been PROVEN to help patients with COVID-19.

Man, they just can't help themselves. Stick to the narrative and kill people - that's the policy.

2
friendofno1 2 points ago +2 / -0

It’s always “you’re being censored for the safety of others” or “your free speech is being revoked because your information is false and harmful” or “we are the tossing you in jail because you offended someone”. Literally didn’t do anything but they lie just so that they have a reason to censor you or shut you up. The scariest thing is that these media companies are actual liars and propagators of fake news, so they will basically censor any counter narrative. Instagram and Facebook and Twitter is Nazi Germany. Zuckersperg is Hitler himself.
