The Sun article attached to this post is also factually incorrect by a glaring omission. It fails to mention that the Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine had to retract the articles about the bogus Surgisphere study which caused FDA concerns in the first place. It also fails to mention particulars of the new study that found that HCQ had cut the mortality rate in half without any patients suffering heart arrhythmias. Finally, I think there is no proof that Trump's promotion of using HCQ caused shortages of the drug, which is referenced in said article. It's more likely that shortages were caused by worldwide use of the drug, as well as production problems arising in Chyna. Fake news.
