From a security incident response perspective, a company of this size is handling this so poorly.

Maybe less time investing on diversity and agenda pushing, and more focus on security.

They hired Nigerian employees who set this up.

2 Nigerian brothers from Chicago that are known to carry nooses and attack homosexual men for cash? They should bring in the Awans to clear this mess up!

Have Graham do a public hearing. Get some buzzfeed bombshells. Seems like a nice news cycle that goes no where. Let's do it. Call Soros, Koch, Qatar, S.A., Israel, Iran, EU and run it by them. Update MediaMatters.

Yep this is exactly the kind of shit that goes wrong when a company cares more about diversity and inclusion and affirmative action and sets goals for diverse hiring practices, rather than focusing on the product and making sure the right people are in the right positions to create a quality product shit like this happens somebody fucks up because they don't know what they're doing and the quality suffers. But to the management all that matters is they can Pat themselves on the back that they have a diverse Workforce of different genders and races and religion whatever

I agree with you. I expected to see a warning message when I went to check Twitter after reading the news about this hack but nothing. That on it self is really bad; this hack went for a couple hours they should have put a big red warning on the top of the website to warn people about this huge scam; the victims (the ppl who sent bitcoins after reading the scam messages) are ultimately those paying the price of this, and I wonder what will be Twitter´s response to all this.
Huge scandal.

When Elon's tweet was the only one going around people sent $5 of BTC just to test it according to the blockchain so a lot of people might be fine from this.

The thing with Elon and Kanye is they can be so nutty sometimes I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did it.

they also targetted a prominent youtube called mrbeast who usually gives a lot of money away, so I think most ppl affected were probably mrbeast fans, because of that, it wouldnt seem super weird that he would announce a giveaway; thats what some of his fans in youtube said.
