My gay relative is against gays being able to adopt. His logic is that children need both a mother and a father for a healthy childhood. Way too much logic for modern people to handle though.
My response to that argument was always "Oh, no.... I don't recommend love as a reason to get married AT ALL." It's like literally the worst reason if you think about it.

Can confirm. Real love doesn't found a marriage but is the fruit a series of hard choices.
Not to mention the modern concept of love is basically lust+expectations and has nothing to do with genuine loyalty, respect, compassion, etc.
