Men make up the vast majority of sexual child abusers. Homosexual men make up less than 1% of the population. Yet boys make up about a third of sexual abuse victims.

Homosexuals are vastly overrepresented among child sexual abusers.

Yeah, men make up most of sexual abusers, true. Doesn’t mean gay men or women shouldn’t adopt. There are men in straight relationships too.

This is a theory I have, so don’t have a fit, but I think homosexual men might be overrepresented both because gay men are still likely to hide their sexuality so the numbers of out men are smaller, and since homosexuality is still seen as deviant and strange, pedophiles might either be more likely to identify with it because it’s “alternative”, or because they’re a crazy leftist and they used homosexuality as a fun identity instead of a sexuality. Most abusers don’t care which sex the child is, it’s about the power and corruption.

Men are not the majority of sex abusers. CDC reporting data showed that almost as many men were abused by the opposite sex as women. The CDC tried to hide the data by categorizing men as "made to penetrate" instead of the obvious category of rape. In addition, reporting from sex abuse convicts showed they were almost always abused by a female.

Interesting. What source did you read?

There were several articles on the CDC's National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NIPSVS): https://time.com/3393442/cdc-rape-numbers/

when asked about experiences in the last 12 months, men reported being “made to penetrate”—either by physical force or due to intoxication—at virtually the same rates as women reported rape (both 1.1 percent in 2010, and 1.7 and 1.6 respectively in 2011).

Mary Koss, famous for promoting the 1 in 5 rape myth, was a CDC consultant and recorded in an interview stating it would be "inappropriate" to categorize a male forced into sex with a woman as rape.

I don't have the study on the convicts anymore it was lost to me. In terms of other data, there is reporting DOJ data on victims of grooming/abuse in juvenile detention, with the overwhelming majority of cases being male prisoners and female staff. There's also a general article on the topic for reference.

There are financial and political incentives to erase male victims of rape, in particular those who's abuser is a woman.

That word soup makes zero sense.

Yeah, men make up most of sexual abusers, true. Doesn’t mean gay men or women shouldn’t adopt. There are men in straight relationships too.

If less than 1% of men are committing more than 30% of the child abuse, then that is a pattern only gay pedophile abusers would want to ignore.

That's an ever bigger overrepresentation than muslims

Most abusers don’t care which sex the child is, it’s about the power and corruption.

This is not true at all.

Most pedophile have very clear gender preferences.

Nice little jab at me, I’m a bisexual woman, so you’re barking up the wrong tree, but still, doesn’t mean gay parents shouldn’t adopt.

There’s so much child abuse in the foster system by straight people that I don’t give a shit about the small population of gay men that are pedophiles in regards to the rights of gay people in general being able to adopt children.

Lock up the pedophiles, yes. Improve the policies for adoption and screening, yes. But for a couple wanting to adopt a kid, a couple with no prior history of violence or sexual abuse, who have a stable job and home, should be able to adopt a kid.

bisexual woman

Is that what you Are, or how you "identify"?

How do you know it's a small percent?

If homosexual men make up less than 1% of the population but committ 30% of child rape, then that seems very unlikely.

Lock up the pedophiles, yes. Improve the policies for adoption and screening, yes. But for a couple wanting to adopt a kid, a couple with no prior history of violence or sexual abuse, who have a stable job and home, should be able to adopt a kid.

I think we should look at the children's best interest. Not the interests of homosexuals who want to adopt. Not when 1% are committing 30% of the abuse.

But clearly we have different priorities "miss"
