Russians really like money and free business. Communism has died there but the old factions of ideas still remain in the cultural context, not an economic one.
The problem with Russia (government) is that while Communism may be dead, the totalitarian ideology is still there and will take a millennia to dilute. Sad really
You have the right ideas in your comment, my friend.
Democracy as known in the West is (for now) impossible for Russians to be under. Russians works well with one ruler, but one that must be just - a rarity considering how people in Russia get to power.
Much Russian blood has been spilled over the last century - on a deep level the Russians are starting to come back to the deepest roots of how their nation was under Tsardom, but I fear more tyranny will be in place for a long long time. Maybe it’s for the best to avoid chaos.
I do know one thing though, once a nation rejects God - the tragedy by the hands of evil tyrants knows no bounds, and only the people suffer. It is not God’s punishment per se, but rather a consequence of humanity being unable to control it’s own evil present in each and every one of us.
