There is a lot to be said for Unions of public servants needing reform. They shouldn't be allowed to be partisan, for example. They shouldn't prevent obvious bad apples from being fired.
Very true. I work for a fairly large police department in Colorado, and can confidently say that I don't know a single officer that is a Democrat. Nearly all are hardcore Republicans and very Pro-Trump. Probably because the Dems are making policing in today's climate a nightmare.

Our "conservative" sheriff only gives ccw if he believes your life is in danger. No evidence, no ccw.
