This is my and my wife’s plan. We were just up in Coeur d’Alene a couple of weeks ago and it looks like an amazing place to live. I just hope Idaho remains that way until I can retire in 15 years or so.
My pede brother, his wife and their soon-to-be-born son are moving to the Boise area. I am hoping to be there within 2 years, with my wife and daughter.
I wish your income tax rate was lower. Wife and I are going to move in probably about a year, we are mainly looking at 0% income tax states. Idaho is still on the menu but it’s growing so quickly and the prices are rising so fast, it’s almost pointless for us to move there from cucked Washington as we won’t be saving any money. We want to live where my wife can quit her job and we can afford to raise a large family on a single income. We have a 9 month old daughter but we want to have at least 3 kids, ideally I’d like 5, maybe the wife will go for 4 if our income permits it. If you know any companies hiring for jobs that pay well I’d definitely be interested. I’m currently a (marketing and communications) consultant but I have experience in fields across the board from the arts to construction. I’m 37 years old, Christian, married with a baby daughter, want more children and I’m a fast learner & very hard worker. We just want to have the “American Dream” of a nice house, enough income to support a family with children and be able to take a vacation every other year. We want to live in “small town America”, you just can’t beat Main Street USA but more and more it feels that our humble goals are becoming more and more unattainable.
And if you're a leftist, stay out of Idaho!

Beautiful....😢
Tell me more...
Low cost of living, Constitutional carry, millions of acres of public land (60% of the state!) that allows hunting, fishing, and firewood cutting.
82% white.
Hows the stargazing?
Seriously.
You can see everything in my town. Occasionally the Northern Lights are visible.
Thank you
Wow. I had no idea Idaho was so beautiful. If Texas ever turns blue, you can bet your ass I'll be beating down the front door
Where are good areas if someone was looking for 100-200 acres to live on?
All over the state. High desert to the south, forest here up north.
You son of a bitch, I’m in
He said it! ☝
I'm in Missouri. As long as you're not in Saint Louis, its a great place.
I was thinking MO...
Yes, because of Ozark.
How is it

Beautiful country. I’d emigrate to the US in a heartbeat if I could 😢
What’s stopping you?
It’s almost impossible to emigrate to the US legally. You can’t really do it unless you have an employer willing to sponsor you.
Come home Idaho man
I'm considering South Dakota because the governor never caved into the covid madness. What about Idaho's governor?
He caved. But we have a recall in the works.
Soon! That is my plan. Got good family up there.
Where is the last 2 pics OP?
Clarkfork river delta above, Schweitzer mountain ski resort below.
Returning here because I was seriously thinking of moving to Idaho per this Pede's post
