NPR is a cesspool. I don't think they get very much money from taxes, it isn't like they are on a payroll, I believe they get grants based on business designations or structure. The NPR station I hear based San Francisco and re-broadcasted to where I live is constantly begging for money.

I literally laugh every time I listen to them. They are an official clown world station...
