Well ... nobody is stopping them, are they?

This is the left's tactics: push and push and push their big gummint bullshit until met with resistance from free people; then bitch and moan about how unfair the resistance is; after the dust settles, enjoy how far you've moved the Overton window .. rinse, repeat.

Good for you for standing your ground. I would suggest, after checking on your local laws, to carry around a digital voice recorder and record every meeting. Some states don’t allow recording unless the other party is notified, so check first. Recording how you’re treated will do wonders for the impending lawsuit.

24
trumpORbust 24 points ago +25 / -1

Also an option to make it clear that this being is getting record for those who couldn't attend and to serve as an official record, and it to the minutes.

I do this now and it puts people in check, sometimes i reminded then they are being recorded

37
ThomasGiferson 37 points ago +37 / -0

I've been seeing this power dynamic all over the place, especially over the last decade plus. It's the go to dynamic in organizations from city governments to international sporting organizations where they don't have a legal mandate or explicit authority to just order some thing be done. They're learning this shit somewhere, in business schools or poly sci classes or some books I'm not aware of.

And it's just like you describe. They push, push, push, until they meet resistance. And then the play book is, they say shit like "we recognize legitimate concern about this issue in our community." They hold meetings of "stakeholders" and pretend they care about the issue. Nothing is accomplished. They wait until interest in the topic dies down, and they try to push again, or seek oblique ways of achieving the same result.

It's some really insidious shit. And to top it all off, these same people often extol the virtues of "democracy".

2
Mister_Wonderful 2 points ago +2 / -0

They’re learning that stuff in social work schools. That’s literally what a lot of the curriculum is. Public policy advocacy, community “organizing” and all the buzzwords you just said. They then join a lot of the nonprofits that are out there pushing this crap and lobbying the hell out of lawmakers nonstop. And when they get there they teach others. I don’t understand how a profession that is supposed to be about psychology and therapy turned into promoting communism, but if you look into it you will find that it is behind a lot of this mess.

They’re literally counting on violence. It’s right out of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.

  1. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
2
Thrasymachus 2 points ago +2 / -0

And he just rewrote Marxist revolutionary tactics for the modern era; they openly planned in early 20th century Europe (Russia 1917, Germany 1919, Spain 1934, etc.) to try and fake being the underdog for public support. Spain is the closest parallel to what we're experiencing in America right now. We're CEDA: playing for years by the rules (that the Marxists hold in open contempt) until it'll be too late and then the only solution will be a cataclysm of violence.

But feel free to remember I said this and call me out on it down the road if I turn out to be wrong.

Like it or not, the woman was committing the crime of brandishing : Her husband was carrying correctly, as was that entire neighborhood BurnLootMurder marched through ( in Indiana?) ; all of them had their weapons pointed straight up OR pointing to the ground . She was caught on camera pointing her weapon at the crowd, and even in a state with open carry/constitutional carry, that IS brandishing.

25
ModernKnight 25 points ago +25 / -0

Brandishing at people who had damaged private property in order to trespass on private property

4
CantStumpTheTrump 4 points ago +4 / -0

Its funny because the other option was to pull out the gun and start blasting.

Its sometimes like you need the bad party to understand the consequences of their actions before you dole out the punishment.

What would happen if they were out playing meek and slightly antagonizing until they started getting pushed around, then just started blasting; is that what they would have preferred happen? (I know the answer is yes because they are just waiting for something to pop-off).

16
CommieCucker 16 points ago +16 / -0

"You will have to prove the elements of self-defense to be exonerated of brandishing a weapon or firearm in violation of PC 417, which includes:

You reasonably believed you or another person were in imminent danger of physical harm And you fought the person who threatened you with only enough force to subdue that person or otherwise defend yourself."

They were trespassing and threatening them, she pointed her gun and said GTFO, they GTFO, and she didn't shoot anyone. I'm not a lawyer, but I assume she's got a hell a case.

-16
Daemoness -16 points ago +1 / -17

Unfortunately, probably not. Look, I'm not happy about her situation, but like it or not, if you try to claim you pulled a gun on someone and pointed it at them because you were in fear for your life/fear of imminent danger, and then DON'T pull the trigger (or worse yet, give a warning shot, or ';shoot to wound') : Well, in that case your inaction disproves your claim .I don't like it, but that's what will be said.

11
CQVFEFE 11 points ago +11 / -0

This is why lawyers argue. Because one can be wrong.

If I'm legitimately in fear for my life, and therefore pull my gun, but then the other guy surrenders or stops threatening me so I don't shoot him, THAT'S HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK. Nobody got hurt, and my life being in danger passed.

Tell me what state REQUIRES YOU TO SHOOT SOMEONE if you pull a gun even if the sight of the gun makes the criminal stop threatening you.

So wrong. Funny Libs coming in trying to sound smart. By your logic, anytime you pull your weapon out but don't shoot because maybe it immediately de-escalated the situation.. You will be arrested.

Holding a firearm improperly is NOT illegal. Otherwise you would have to go through extensive training to "participate" in the 2nd amendment. And that is not how it works.

I find the conspicuous consumption a bit embarrassing tbh. Maybe instead of Sunday Gunday where grown men flaunt their possessions, the focus should be Marksmanship Sunday where people show their targets, group sizes and the range - and to the ones who are new to it, track their progress through time or get tips on how to improve.

But that's just me.

10
Spirit_of_Resistance 10 points ago +11 / -1

Sounds like something you could start doing yourself inside Sunday gunday than taking out Sunday gunday as a whole

3
sackofwisdom 3 points ago +3 / -0

Great point. Be the change you want to see. Make the content YOU like because other people out there will share your taste.

0
jjacksonRIAB 0 points ago +2 / -2

I'm not suggesting taking it out - it's a free(ish) country and people can do whatever they want.

To me it's like seeing a soyface grinning while holding some product like a video game instead of demonstrating their skill at playing it. What's the point? Are you signaling that you understand your solemn duty or are you merely signaling your ability to be a good consumer? Product placement or shot placement?

It's just food for thought and I think it was fair for u/your_MOM to bring it up.

4
Spirit_of_Resistance 4 points ago +4 / -0

If they or you want to do those things you're welcome to. If you think you can slyly toss insults in there to the people partaking in gunday while trying to remove or 'appropriate' it you can go sit on one

0
jjacksonRIAB 0 points ago +1 / -1

You have failed to articulate any rationale as to why I should respect that kind of crass consumerism. Respect is earned. You don't earn my respect by bringing an anti-materiel rifle to a protest to advertise your mercantile aspirations. You don't earn my respect by seeing armed communists creating roadblocks, effectively menacing people into compliance, and then criticizing their firearm accessories like a teenager girl criticizes another girl's shoes.

I can articulate why I don't like it. It signals to me that far too many do not take what's happening seriously, that their guns are some kind of toy or hobby to them and they'll stamp their feet like children when they're taken away, but in the end they will be taken away.

You can feel insulted by that characterization if you like, but the fact that there is very little real pushback against this behavior while people are being sent to prison for defending themselves tells me, at least, that many people presumably on our side don't preserve the "spirit of resistance" but at best view their firearms as some kind of totemic symbol to ward off evil rather than a tool of resistance - and at worst see it as an opportunity to status signal.

Either way I can't help but find it embarrassing. Feeling insulted doesn't make you right or give you any special claim to strawman me.

EDIT I'm sure the people who participate in this are fine people, but I'd just like them to consider what I and others have said, that's all.

The Karens run the Christian churches.

70
KekistanPM 70 points ago +72 / -2

They teach "hot tub" Christianity where the focus is on being nice, feeling good about yourself, and tolerance for sin. We can't judge people, so that must mean we can't judge their actions either. It's a motivational seminar that happens every Sunday.

I wish the nearest church to me with a pastor who boldly preaches the Word wasn't an hour away.

34
ProphetOfKek 34 points ago +35 / -1

25
liberty4alll 25 points ago +25 / -0

‘Hot tub Christianity’ ...wow, so true.

I grew up in church and went to several, and, although they preached the Word, I always felt they emphasized ‘niceness’ too much. Especially for men. Churches have played a large part in emasculating men in our society. To the point where they shirk any confrontation just to appease. Too much ‘be ye gentle’ and not enough ‘fight the good fight’.

15
FuckReddit4545 15 points ago +15 / -0

I found a good church, first sermon I attended our pastor called out the sin of homosexuality. He wasn't afraid to "offend" anyone, I knew I found a new home. This don't judge thing has been taken way off the cliff. We can and should call out wickedness. It's about a 30 minute drive but it's worth it.

15
HuggableBear 15 points ago +15 / -0

This don't judge thing has been taken way off the cliff.

It's something it was never meant to be. "Judge not" isn't the entire saying. It finishes with "...lest ye be judged."

It's an exhortation against hypocrisy, not against judgment of any kind.

In Christian terms, it doesn't mean to be accepting of anything and everything. It means not to view anyone as irredeemable because we are all sinners. It's not your job to pass final judgment on someone, that's God's job.

Your job is to do your best to help that person stop sinning, not to accept their sins.

4
ModernKnight 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm lucky enough to have a couple of priests who are still willing to call out sin, whether or not the current Pope wants them to, and I thank them after every Mass for it. Glad to hear you have found a strong pastor.

Frankly, I don't call myself a Christian anymore. I have been so disgusted at the lack from the church and the "lay down and take it" attitude is sickening. Part of Christianity is fellowship.

5
sportsbettingtruth 5 points ago +5 / -0

A church I used to go to, I watched their live stream.

If I didn't know any better I thought the stream would have been that of a democrat political seminar.

They were fully endorsing lockdowns, saying that the government has every right to shut down churches, its not stripping our rights, we need to trust and obey our leaders, the 1st amendment is not unlimited, we need to accept it and not complain, and if you want to go to church in person you want to kill grandma. Actual words. Not paraphrasing.

And this isn't some liberal universal unitarian Church in a blue city, its a church in the affluent, white, conservative part of Louisville, KY.

They also had a sermon about black lives matter and it was what you would expect. Last time I ever watched the stream.

3
niacin 3 points ago +4 / -1

When church leaders spew the words of the Ggvernment instead of the words of God, the faithful should turn their backs on those leaders as they are not leading by word of God anymore.

It is this crazy BECAUSE the swamp was not drained. No Dem fears recourse from this. This is grounds for civil war.

If the Republicans won't protect our rights, then the people will need to do it themselves.

The government is not allowed to get in the way of your right to worship, or to peaceably assemble!

One thing you mentioned there that holds people hostage is in regards to small business operating outside of their state's mandates. A business owner who refuses to comply will lose their license.

Choosing to operate your business can't be equated with lawfully/unlawfully protesting, looting or rioting because doing any of those things won't coat you your livelihood. So long as operating licenses are required, local and state governments have owners by the balls on this.

sackofwisdom 2 points ago +2 / -0

If my employer fires me, it will not be fun for them.

I've been procrastinating, but I need to get my own business up and running sooner than later so I can keep my home and stick to my morals on the mask issue.

I see it everyday. Unfortunately, most of the "conservatives" are social liberals who think that people should be able to do whatever they want and have been taught that even suggesting people follow Christian values is on par with the Crusades. They will complain about how there is no prayer in school and how their pastor doesn't even quote from the Bible, but they keep sending there kids to school and don't go to a different church because muh 1980s libertarian neo-liberal values. They would rather be killed by invaders than go against what the government is saying.

No it's not. SCOTUS decided it had that power and granted it to itself in Marbury v. Madison. Jefferson himself spoke about how that's not the intent of the judicial branch and it's a dangerous concept. That courts grabbed power way before we were born and they keep grabbing it from the people because we let them.

Founders were great, but they never expected people to be kept artificially alive, or refuse to step down because they value their own agenda over the good of the country.

After the Boog, we need to draft a new constitution, based HEAVILY on the existing one of course, but without all the exploitable areas. Term limits written in, ability to recall judges by the people, stuff like that.

Maybe one of these super churches should take up their second amendment and stand out front of their church and protect their first. Think CA is going to go full Waco in the middle of Orange County? Every red blooded American obeying this order is a cuck.

If this isn’t the red line, where the fuck is it? Do we wait until they start putting Christians on buses (train system is too shitty in CA), or is that acceptable too?

This should be the final wake-up call for any pedes who are not yet armed. War is literally at your front door whether you want it to be or not. BLM is attacking pregnant women and killing children, and your government is shutting down your churches indefinitely. What do you think they will do if trump gets reelected, or when get caught with 100 million fake mail-in ballots?

You need to arm yourself and your family. Learn what you can and definitely can't do. Seriously, definitely don't "drill a third hole" on your AR-15, and don't do something dumb like try and 3d print or mill your own drop-in auto sear, and don't try to find out how to make one with a coat hanger. Just load up on totally legal guns and ammo, and after that's done watch some free training videos and go to a range or your buddy's ranch to practice and sight in your weapons.

exactly

folks may not know this if they dont live in california but not every single californian is some homeless dude shitting on the sidewalk in san francisco. there's a lot of based people here.

if you actually go to church, odds are good the church is in an area where the cops aren't going to go in and bust up a congregation because of governor needledick. if the cops in the area are willing to do that, odds are good there isn't a church in that jurisdiction anyway.

Sorry, but that's the first thing I think about.

8
JuanTitor 8 points ago +8 / -0

Our pastor is friends with some pastors deep in LA, I know one of them and follow him on social media, but even with him, I don't think the LAPD is going to go shut down a primarily Mexican church. Mayor Garcetti doesn't actually have convictions on this (or probably anything else), so there is no way he would risk the optics that would create. Granted some white/asian church meeting in Hollywood or West LA might get made an example of, but even then I don't know. We shall see, as surely some won't comply.

5
meals23 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah the LAPD is hard to get a read on in this situation because the recent riots exposed how a lot of folks that start a career in law enforcement take a job with a big city like LA, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc because they're easy to get into with few people wanting to stay long term and a huge need for a large police force. As a result many officers just do a 5 years keeping their nose clean and then transfer to a department where they actually want to work and be a cop.

So you could have demotivated cops who don't want to bother doing something so stupid, or you could have demotivated cops who don't want to risk getting fired and figure busting up a church could be easy.

The best solution I think is to stay well away from urban hellscapes. Either that or ask roof koreans to provide church security.

I'm in Cali, and people don't just vote for Newsom, they vote for him BIG. He gets elected with a supermajority and probably will be again. He destroyed the state on every turn and (apparently most) people here just love every second of it.

Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ephesians 6:10-17 NIV

3
solarsavior 3 points ago +4 / -1

This. I say this as an atheist. This doesn't mean that I believe in God, Jesus, Satan, Moloch. It just means that taking all information into account this is a fight between Good and Evil and Dark vs Light.

2
OnlyAmerica 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't mean to offend you, but I find it incredibly ironic that you use the language of the transcendence (Good vs Evil, Dark vs Light) and still can encapsulate yourself into being an "atheist".

I venture to say this attitude is a direct consequence of the Protestant obsession with the Text. It's unfortunate but it is divine will. The Protestant movement did great things to break the grid lock monopoly of the rotten carcass of the Latin church, but there is a limit to human inventions after all.

If you are a smart and humble person, you should be calling yourself agnostic not atheist. Atheism is nothing but a teenager game to rebel against their NPC Christian parents.

Take it from me as a former "atheist".

1
solarsavior 1 point ago +1 / -0

No offense taken and I was half-hoping someone like yourself would come asking. How can an atheist make such statements without believing in gods?

I am a bit offended that you would subtly claim that I am not smart and not humble by the way you have worded your response. Please climb down from your tower. We can play games with the meaning agnostic vs atheist all day long. Generally speaking, agnostic means a person who has not formed an opinion as to the presence of gods where an atheist has.

So, how is it that I can see the Good vs Evil and Dark vs Light without believing in gods? Simple really. I believe that there are PEOPLE that believe in those gods and act accordingly. Thus it is good people vs evil people and people of the dark vs people of the light that are battling.

1
6-_-j 1 point ago +1 / -0

View God as a metaphor and it all makes sense my dude.

1
OnlyAmerica 1 point ago +2 / -1

Again, excuse my use of language, but I think being straight and direct is better than jumping around the bush. Plus, my background was autistically scientific before I became a Christian, so I'm used to jumping straight in the ring anyway.

So, let's have a small discussion if you are still willing.

One issue the atheists often mention is the lack of evidence. Ask yourself this: what kind of evidence do you want? Apparently, atheists desire "evidence". However, this an incredibly arbitrary desire and yet somehow made to be perceived as these "evidence" must be of a scientific nature. A scientific evidence is anything but arbitrary.

I don't know anything your professional field so I can't make any claim about it, so I will just mention statistics quickly because it is essential when you want to talk about scientific evidence.

Statistical reasoning is central to any and all scientific work. Even scientists themselves have to be incredibly careful with the results of a test, that's why you may have heard some one say something like "95% confidence", which is supposed to be "95% statistically significant". Mind you, in statistics there is nothing as true or false. A 95% statistical confidence does not deny or confirm anything. The number only pertains to the very narrowly worded criteria of the test in use. Thus, a set of data obtained through the scientific method is qualitatively bound to the questions raised at the beginning of the test only, nothing else. Data (usually) do not lie and data are not the same as 'evidence'. Thus, even the phrase "statistical evidence" is an oxymoron. So when atheists like you talk about evidence, you must be clear what kind of evidence you want to talk about.

Next, if you desire scientific evidence, then you must design a test using the scientific method. But how are you going to design a test to verify the existence of God? Science (the actual hard sciences like physics and chemistry -- not the fake "soft sciences" like economics) only deals with the physical reality where things can be measured. How do you measure God? Even theoretical physics itself is a very narrow field where they try to predict within very specific subsets of physical problems. There is a reason it is called theoretical, because there is absolutely no way to verify any claim at all, and some consistently calculated results from some assumed math functions are not the same as measured data. For example, if you dig a little bit only into the physics circles, you will even hear some arguments regarding the validity of string theory as a physics discipline.

If even physics, which is at the absolute frontier of chartering the human knowledge about the fabric of reality, has to be humble about the true nature of reality, don't think it is quite hasty on your part to proclaim 'God does not exist'?

So when you have no way to verify whether or a claim is true or false, your argument is as good as a Christian's faith.

Edit: again, not trying to offend your intelligence. I know the way I talk may appear too blunt so you have to excuse me. However, science (scientific data to be exact) is cold and hard, and isn't that why we all love to rely on it?

I can't find any Christians around that will stand up to this. I've even had Christians get angry when I suggest that Newsom's executive order is dubious at best and churches should just refuse it. We serve God, not a governor. If churches get fined, the congregation tithes every week, so they can pay the fines and bring a case against the state of California.

16
a_chill_bro 16 points ago +17 / -1

And no one will do anything about this. We will simply whine about this in our little digital ghetto and stay in our cages like good little tax cattle while the left continues to steamroll us.

How are we “winning” again?

11
sustainable_saltmine 11 points ago +13 / -2

yep. individuals won't win here. small crowds of people "protesting on the capital grounds" won't win. The end of all of this HAS to come from government. SOMEONE has to overrule these governors. We can't just "disobey" unless you have thousands of dollars to pay everyone's fines and spring them from jail for disobedience. So it's useless to talk about how you're going to just do what you want, not wear a mask in a store and whatever. Until your elected representatives grow a pair, we're stuck in this for the duration.

Doesn’t the Constitution prohibit exactly this?

The only thing that matters is power. Words on paper don't mean jack shit if you don't have the power to back them up.

Are mosques and synagogues exempt?

Enjoy the gelding, you California cucks.

It ends the instant you stop complying and start asserting your CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

YOU KNOW. THE THING. THE THING YOUR ANCESTORS SACRIFICED EVERYTHING TO GIVE TO YOU. Did you all take thinking lessons from Joe Biden? Hello? Anybody alive with balls still in California other than Devin Nunes?

Reminds me of that brave ladypede patriot who charged ahead on the beach and all the men stood and watched. So did the other chicks. YOU MADE THIS BED, CALIFORNIA. And we ALL have to suffer for your cowardice because of the economic and social fallout. YOU FAILURES! FIX IT NOW!

When the ocean swallows California, all those "raptured" out by lifeboats will sigh the same lament

It's justice. We deserved it.

Maybe Jefferson State seems like something you won't discount and start seriously considering as a TOOL OF DEFENSE OF YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

Seriously, my prosperous Cali friends are losing everything and still won't admit the obvious to themselves. THEY KEEP COMPLYING!

My church embarrasses me more every single day. What a bunch of emasculated hypocrites. Beautiful buildings and temples still carefully manicured by landscaping companies.

NO MEMBERS ALLOWED IN.

prophets seers and revelators my ass. more like scribes, pharisees, and sadducees. if Jesus came tomorrow, my church would crucify him as an apostate today and complain more about Newsom, the Covidol, and 501c3. Hope the billions stashed in digital currency was worth your soul.

HYPOCRITES!

California has been invaded by illegals and taken over by communists. So we're blaming the remaining Americans residing in enemy territory for being oppressed, when none of us will go to their aid. They already voted against this bullshit in 1994 with Proposition 187. Our great and wonderful courts said that was illegal, and they were flooded with illegal immigrants. Now those immigrants have had children, and those children have been raised to hate America and wish for its destruction.

Why should we be blaming the remaining Americans there when the rest of the country stood by and allowed it to happen, and keeps allowing it?

It's been a sad year. Constitutional rights trampled all over the place. Illegal behavior everywhere, and no one is doing anything to stop it.

I don't know about you but i'm getting REAL tired of our freedoms getting walked all over... Real fucking tired of it.

3
MrBones 3 points ago +3 / -0

It sucks because nobody is going to do anything. We'll all just post memes and complain while the left continues to step on the people's rights.

2
uberswank99 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah I dont get it. If the president is powerless to do anything now, how will that change after the election?

8
joebud 8 points ago +8 / -0

If they had done this just 10 years ago there would be mass protests, today everyone just seems to accept anything.

5
Polyobfuscation 5 points ago +6 / -1

Yup. I previously dismissed as baseless conspiracy theories the assertion that the coronavirus lockdown was exploited as social engineering designed to lull society into complacency when it comes to these sorts of directives from government, but now I'm starting to think there really is something to it.

Epicsoundwaves 8 points ago +8 / -0

My Christian friends in LA and OC are driving me absolutely insane, agreeing with these restrictions, kissing Newsom's butt and fighting me for saying I think this is an attack on our religious rights. They say "YOU think YOU'RE a persecuted Christian? Ha! So ignorant, you have no idea what's going on in other countries. You can watch church on TV, you aren't a victim, honey. You're not a good Christian if you're willing to put someone else's life at risk."

I'm glad someone is worried about their religious freedoms because they don't even know how close they are to losing them completely.

3
MichaelGioIreland 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same. I've heard fellow "Christians" going ballistic over a news story that a church of 100 people stayed open past the date that they were suppose to shutdown. They think it's going to hurt the image of Christians, but they refuse to stop the deterioration of Western Civilization, which is built on Christianity. They sit back as their pastors preach homosexuality is okay and whites need to atone for slavery. It's sad to see them fall for Satan's lies while claiming to be worshiping Jesus.

2
Epicsoundwaves 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly this. It's really hard to see and idk how to not sound like an asshole while trying to explain to my friends that they need to examine the "Christianity" they're living and preaching.

Honestly, some of my friends are more concerned with what random, non believers think about them than what Jesus thinks about them. They're falling away so easily and I don't know how to help.

2
incogneato 2 points ago +2 / -0

Challenge them to look at the bigger picture. Tell them they've got their heads down and are only seeing a tiny corner of the movie screen, but if they'd look up and step back they would see the entire picture.

Tell them it's not about a virus. Or masks. Or "social distancing." Ask them what they think it's REALLY about. What else is happening in other US cities? What pattern do they see?

Because there is a pattern and they are missing it. Play a game with them. Ask them what they see besides what's solely happening in their neighborhood. Tell them you see it but you want to know what THEY see.

P.S. Your friends are getting high off of their virtue signaling and from smugly telling you that they are Good Christians and you are not.

People who are low on the social scale love nothing more than feeling superior to someone who is naturally higher up there than they are. This is why they are so blind to the bigger picture, because their drug of smug superiority kicks in and they don't ever want that to end.

Trump MUST step in and put a stop to these rogue states. We occupied states with the national guard for less but this calls for a purge. Banning worship and protests is a clear violation of the Constitution and the federal government is OBLIGATED to defend the rights of Americans.

Its time to end this.

7
kuningus 7 points ago +7 / -0

I don't remember voting for or against Sonia Y Angell.

Looked her up:

"Dr. Angell is a former deputy commissioner for prevention and primary care at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, from 2014 to 2019" https://www.cdph.ca.gov/meet-the-director

Fucking New Yorker.

All indoor church services ANS protests must cease.

So it’s

  1. Ok to protest and demand that the state reopen outside.

  2. It’s ok to hold church services outside.

6
niacin 6 points ago +6 / -0

I guess California forgot that Trump mandated that places of worship are an essential service?

Edit: AP News Article from May on Executive Order

6
ODOnRedPill 6 points ago +6 / -0

I would think if religious leaders just opened up shop and allowed people in they wouldn't be able to arrest everyone.

I implore all religious individuals in CA to do just that. FUCK THE STATE.

If the state replaces religion communism wins.

6
repoman 6 points ago +6 / -0

This is not the role of the government as set forth by the constitution. We aren’t the ones needing sent to re-education camps... maybe one of the commies should have their definitions examined.

5

protests are on the list?? Because they know Orange County pedes fight back!

5
Tonightm05 5 points ago +5 / -0

Just like masks.

It's going to last for years. If you think this will be all over after November even if they don't win the WH. Then you're going to be in for a shock in December. One of the most important months in the Church's calendar.

Christians not being able to pray together and remember the birth of Jesus Christ will be a massive victory to socialism in America.

Next will be the rounding up and arrests of Christians and priests that go against socialist law.

5
digital_daisy 5 points ago +5 / -0

Sounds like canopy church services need to pop up all over the state. Or maybe get some giant screens and have some drive-in revivals. They don't want the sanctuary building open, well then they'll get to hear the gospel being preached and hymns being sung on outdoor mics. Let God's word be heard even louder.
