folks may not know this if they dont live in california but not every single californian is some homeless dude shitting on the sidewalk in san francisco. there's a lot of based people here.
if you actually go to church, odds are good the church is in an area where the cops aren't going to go in and bust up a congregation because of governor needledick. if the cops in the area are willing to do that, odds are good there isn't a church in that jurisdiction anyway.
When I was a kid in my country, I used to think about sunshine, oranges and raisins when I thought about California. As a kid, the US was the statue of Liberty (NY), Texas with cowboys and California for the sunshine.
Now that I live here, California is to me is some homeless dude shitting on the sidewalk. Sorry, but that's the first thing I think about.
I do not live near LA but I went there recently for business reasons and the first thing I saw when I got out of my truck was a homeless person shitting on the sidewalk.
Our pastor is friends with some pastors deep in LA, I know one of them and follow him on social media, but even with him, I don't think the LAPD is going to go shut down a primarily Mexican church. Mayor Garcetti doesn't actually have convictions on this (or probably anything else), so there is no way he would risk the optics that would create. Granted some white/asian church meeting in Hollywood or West LA might get made an example of, but even then I don't know. We shall see, as surely some won't comply.
Yeah the LAPD is hard to get a read on in this situation because the recent riots exposed how a lot of folks that start a career in law enforcement take a job with a big city like LA, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc because they're easy to get into with few people wanting to stay long term and a huge need for a large police force. As a result many officers just do a 5 years keeping their nose clean and then transfer to a department where they actually want to work and be a cop.
So you could have demotivated cops who don't want to bother doing something so stupid, or you could have demotivated cops who don't want to risk getting fired and figure busting up a church could be easy.
The best solution I think is to stay well away from urban hellscapes. Either that or ask roof koreans to provide church security.
yep, same with OC, and a lot of the inland empire. But it all pales in comparison population wise to LA and the Bay Area which gave us Governor Needledick when we could have had thick, juicy Cox
After the Oroville Dam situation failed to redpill people I realized without Night of the Long Vans it's going to take generations of getting fucked before this state turns around. Thankfully, the one good thing Gavin has done is accelerate the process so maybe I can see it within my lifetime. Here's hoping.
I'm in Cali, and people don't just vote for Newsom, they vote for him BIG. He gets elected with a supermajority and probably will be again. He shuts down businesses, livelihoods, bank accounts, families, churches, and people still vote for him. He destroyed the state on every turn and (apparently most) people here just love every second of it.
Yeah right, I went to church last night, will go again on Sunday. The local PD already said they don't care.
exactly

I don't know how people live near that daily.
If you stay in the suburbs, you generally won’t see people shitting on the sidewalk.
When I was a kid in Orange County in the 1980s, that's precisely what it was.

I just realized I should start going to churches to socialize and get a feel for who's resisting.
