I hope everyone is enjoying the Bavarian Fire Drill.

Maybe a crowd of masked people should show up and show them exactly how well they’ll comply

30
theultimatesean 30 points ago +31 / -1

Hey fren, me too.

BILL BARR WAKE THE FUCK UP

(However, you’re not alone. And even if you’re the only one, this is exactly how we stop tyranny. One person at a time.)

16
OldHickorysFlintlock 16 points ago +16 / -0

Call your state reps and your governor and say the same thing OP said. I did. Not that I alone can do any good but if enough people... who am I kidding, they’re our lords and we are but humble plebes

4
SemperFree 4 points ago +4 / -0

If your State reps and Governor are leftists, they won't listen to you. They are doing as they are mandated by the DNC.

We really need help. Not sure about you, but outside of this site I feel alone. People are sheep.

2
OldHickorysFlintlock 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well that’s why most of us are here to begin with. “Mainstream” was hijacked a long time ago and it’s up to us to keep pushing the dankest May Mays

2
Sirbigusdickus 2 points ago +2 / -0

I called my local CA representative in California, but they don’t have any English speakers.

28
Watch_TheKarma_Burn 28 points ago +28 / -0

I agree with you OP. The states rights and mismanagement by dems case has been made.

Fact is, these states CAN NOT USURP THE CONSTITUTION, which is the Federal law of the land. The Feds have an obligation to step in an stop this fucking madness. Peoples business and livelihoods are being ruined. The Peoples right to worship is being shit on. Basically, stifling life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

It's time for the feds to step in.

BillionsAndBillions 6 points ago +6 / -0

The Supreme Court already ruled on governors and mayors shutting down churches. They ruled that churches are no different than sporting events, deserve no special 1st Amendment protection, and may be shut down at will by local officials.

JoshHawley 5 points ago +5 / -0

This was one of the most disheartening decisions of our time.

20
derpstater 20 points ago +20 / -0

Get a group of like minded folks and walk into Walmart, Target, CVS etc. There is strength in numbers.

15
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 15 points ago +16 / -1

Yeah for sure but I'm not going to stop demanding that action from the people who actually have the power to stop this shit in its tracks.

16
derpstater 16 points ago +17 / -1

They are all cowards. The mask thing is where the left are choosing to demand obedience. If they lose this, they lose the public. Resistance has to be from the people; the leaders are too weak.

8
YUUUUGETURDS 8 points ago +8 / -0

It always needs to come from the public. The problem isn't their cowardice, its a lack of it that is the issue. They aren't afraid of us, that's the problem.

11
CitizenPlain 11 points ago +13 / -2

Making a "stand" at a business (no matter how many show up) will quickly just devolve into a confrontation on not vacating private property when asked to leave. It will then not be about masks at that point.

A proper protest needs to be at the doors of the actual decision maker (at the highest level of government that is mandating masks).

8
ThankYouMrTrump 8 points ago +8 / -0

Or if you see someone being harassed for not having a mask, tell the harasser to shut up. Show support for those who are getting harassed.

5
Geyck 5 points ago +5 / -0

Today my wife asked me what we're going to now that Target is going to be requiring masks. I flew off the handle screaming all the things I'd like to do: shop in groups, all armed; loot and burn the place down. I mean that Minneapolis Target was left in ruins and they did nothing to provoke it. I actually have a reason. I was only half sarcastic.

2
Cyer6 2 points ago +2 / -0

If anyone's one's waiting for someone or some entity to do something, keep waiting. The only thing they respect is loud volume and very squeaky wheels. You want to make a city or town change its tune, you need a lot of loud voices at city council meetings. If that doesn't work, go to their homes and keep the pressure on. BLM and Antifa was able to draw in support and money from dozens of politicians, companies and celebrities in a matter of days. It wasn't the rioting that did it but the fact that they keep the pressure on.

They don't do a 2 hour protest on a Saturday morning then go home. That's what we do. No, they prevent a president from filling an arena for a rally or block a highway for 4 hours on the president's 4th of July celebration in South Dakota. An event in the middle of no where they were able to accomplish something. If there's no disruption, then no one cares or pays attention. We all hate these bastards, but you have to admit that their tactics work because it plays on human fears and emotions.

Edit: And this can work for a big box store too.

19
Socialismsuckz 19 points ago +19 / -0

I agree. Is there something Trump can do? It seems like this would have to something that has to be taken to the supreme court but that would take a long time. I saw somewhere in Colorado they are enforcing 2500 fine or up to a year in jail. It's insane and not constitutional.

24
sustainable_saltmine 24 points ago +24 / -0

yeah, YOU serve jail time for not wearing a mask, but murderers and rapists get out because of concerns they'll get the virus and spread it in jail

16
ThomasGiferson 16 points ago +17 / -1

Hold your horses. The Durham report is coming in two weeks. Err . . . Bill Barr will issue another strongly worded letter on Dept of Justice stationary telling governors not to violate the rights of Americans. Lindsey Graham will threaten to call people to testify before his committee. And the kicker is, Trey Gowdy will speak words on FoxNews tonight.

9
BallsackPaneer 9 points ago +9 / -0

And the Hannity will offer his usual pro-mask, "muh baze-ball" bullshit about how he is willing to submit if it means he can see a game. Folks, that's just plain weird. I get where he might mention it once, but it's over, and over like he's trying to program his audience. Why? Yeah, yeah, yeah, probably the usual controlled opposition, but damn, really Hannity? It's so damn obvious.

10
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 10 points ago +10 / -0

fuck hannity over this mask shit.

1
Cyer6 1 point ago +1 / -0

Laura has been hammering the mask bullshit just about every show and her blocks on the subject have been very effective and convincing. At this point, I'd rather watch Shannon Bream than Hannity. They could put him in a 2am time slot as far as I'm concerned. His mask promotion did it for me, I'm done with that cuck.

1
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I heard him on the radio today extolling the greatness of teleworking and teleschool.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying there's not a place for that, but it isn't for everyone. He was talking about it as if it's some great thing that's "the future" for everyone. Call me crazy but to me that sounds like a dystopian hell.

Also, for many families and their situations, having someone teleworking from home is an absolute high stress nightmare. For some people it works great. For others, it totally destroys family and home dynamics to have that going on at home all the time.

8
ThomasGiferson 8 points ago +8 / -0

I haven't watched Hannity in a good while, but yeah, repeating that about masks looks fake as shit. Hannity, a globalist stooge. Who'd have thought it?

6
559throw 6 points ago +6 / -0

He literally repeats the same things over and over and over, every single day. And uses "literally" to mean "figuratively." Dudes a fuckin clown

1
Cyer6 1 point ago +1 / -0

Probably Barr: "We have been asked to look into allegations of civil and constitutional rights involving widescale lockdowns and mask orders. I cannot go into any details about any investigative process at this time, but you can be certain that we're looking into it and taking it seriously."

1
ThomasGiferson 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's . . . kind of hopeful. But this has been going on for months.

12
EntilZha 12 points ago +13 / -1

Half of me wants to hand Trump nearly unlimited power to deal with all the ongoing bullshit.

The other half of me (unlike retarded liberals), knows that my guy won't be in the White House forever and I don't want a (D) to have nearly unlimited power. (not that that stopped Obumbler, the novelty president)

4
Mexicola1976 4 points ago +6 / -2

1
EntilZha 1 point ago +2 / -1

Well many of the people here still think there is going to be a Night of the Long Knives (metaphorically).

Though a lot have also given up on that.

2
jgardner 2 points ago +2 / -0

The reason why the Roman Republic lasted for so long was that, from time to time, they would hand absolute power and authority over to a dictator. The dictator could do ANYTHING they wanted, and no one could oppose them.

The dictator would return power to the senate when order was restored.

We need something like this in the US.

0
Geezmokleez 0 points ago +1 / -1

Name three instances where a Roman dictator returned power to the Senate.

2
jgardner 2 points ago +2 / -0

Every dictator until Caesar. But Caesar was murdered.

You really ought to study history.

11
JiggsawCalrissian 11 points ago +11 / -0

Now don't you feel better now that you've got it all out?

The enemy is hidden, the enemy is deep. As we keep learning, the enemy is goddamned everywhere!

The soft touch is the only way out of this until November.

Remember there are millions of normies who dont follow politics and who just wont know any better. The last thing we need is to hand the left wing msm more ammunition to reinforce their lies about us.

At the end of the day. Theres always the bayonet. One way or another our voices will be heard

HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 15 points ago +16 / -1

On one hand you are right but on the other hand that is bullshit.

Shit like this is one reason I voted for a person like POTUS. And one of the ONLY actual real function of government is to protect against this sort of coup-like overreach.

Not saying it won't come to people having to do what you're saying, but that is also fucking ridiculous and there is no REASON it should need to be that way.

HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

The sad truth is that in this media driven world, someone shooting an official would not result in what we want, but a tightening down.

6
EntilZha 6 points ago +6 / -0

If the shit ever hit the fan, not that I expect it to nor am I advocating it...the first round should be to destroy as much of the legacy media's infrastructure as possible. They have lost all rights to call themselves neutral in a conflict.

2
JiggsawCalrissian 2 points ago +3 / -1

This exactly! That's why as frustrating as it may be you have to buckle down and deal for the time being.

We have to have faith in the president. Until it becomes a war its a bomb diffusal. And you dont start cutting wires all willy nilly while diffusing a bomb, right? Patience friend. Patience.

I’m convinced that Trump is following a states-rights approach more than any president since Coolidge.

However, states do not get to trample our God given and Constitutionally protected rights. When they do (like now) the AG has every right to step in.

3
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

right

DUTY

2
ThomasGiferson 2 points ago +3 / -1

You do not seem to understand our system very well. Federal law is law of the land. The federal government is tasked with defending our rights under that law and under the Constitution. States and state law do not trump federal law or the US Constitution.

2

HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

restricting freedom of movement, freedom of religion, commerce transactions, based on an arbitrary rule that you need to have a fag muzzle on your face? Shouldn't be that hard to prove.

2

1
ThomasGiferson 1 point ago +3 / -2

No, you literally do not understand the system, when you say "the state is above the federal government".

3
theultimatesean 3 points ago +3 / -0

In the original vision, u/420-Trump-2020 is right. There was a balance, but the states were supposed to wield the most power. They simply had to agree not to violate the Constitution.

Things flipped obviously along the way.

Ironically enough, all these tyrannical governors are showing that the states do have more power than we assumed.

1
ThomasGiferson 1 point ago +1 / -0

No, he's not even right going back to the beginning. The US Constitution was from the beginning designed to be the highest controlling legal authority in the land. There is no doubt about this.

It's true that federal powers were supposed to be far more greatly constrained. That has slipped over the years. No one would deny that. But that is besides the point.

The point at issue is whether the federal government should stop the states from issuing these emergency declarations and mitigation efforts. The argument I'm on the side of is that, Yes, it should, because our basic Constitutional rights are being violated, and it is the responsibility of the federal government to protect those rights.

1
deleted 1 point ago +2 / -1
1
ThomasGiferson 1 point ago +1 / -0

US states are not sovereign states in the same sense that the US or Germany or Japan are sovereign states. To say a state is sovereign is to say there's no higher legal authority. US states are not sovereign in that sense, and never have been. The US Constitution is the law of the land, and so too is federal law. That was established in the Constitution and through many court cases in subsequent years.

States first tried to nullify federal law during Andrew Jackson's administration. He squashed them, and he's been upheld in courts ever since.

6
sustainable_saltmine 6 points ago +8 / -2

fuck the sovereign states if this is the hill that doctrine has to die on so be it. Sick of this excuse because it basically means this will go on forever. You know we are outnumbered by weak minded retards who will either shrug and say "well nothing we can do, government said", or people who will actively clap like seals over every measure local officials take thinking that it "helps keep us safe". If Trump has to come down on the States and overrule them, I'm ALL for it.

8
sir_rockness 8 points ago +8 / -0

They have cops parked in front of walmart here in KY.... in fucking KY. Making sure all us faggots have our muzzles on I guess?

Sorry Pede but were the folks that fought the British off in the War of 1812.

If weve cucked, everyone has cucked. Its over

4
Dudemanfoo 4 points ago +4 / -0

Cops that enforce this don't get my support when they want to defund them... get woke... go broke.

1
Cyer6 1 point ago +1 / -0

Get 30 patriots to walk in there without muzzles. Do that for several days in a row and draw attention to that police department. They hate to look bad and having a handful of cops on YT vids trying to contend with them is not something they want.

8
snuggs316 8 points ago +8 / -0

mandatory masks go live in half an hour, here in alabama. it's 95' damn degrees out, and that's w/o the heat index. we've had 6 deaths since march, in a county of 84k. FUCK gramma ivey.

If you dont agree with the mask order then just dont wear the fucking mask. You guys whining and begging for The President to become a dictator, and then what when he gets out of office, precedent has been set. Then we will all have much bigger fish to fry than a mask order. Its a states issue, again if you dont like it, dont comply and direct your rage at your governor.

0
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 0 points ago +3 / -3

Fuck your double speak double think 1984 bullshit. Forcing people to wear a fucking muzzle on their face (because that is what it is) in order to conduct daily life IS being a dictator. Fighting tyranny is not being a dictator. You complete fucking retard.

People who want to wear them CAN. What would be dictatorial is if somehow it was stated you aren't allowed to. LIsten to yourself. There is no bigger fish to fry than this mask shit and if you think there is, you must live somewhere that you're still reasonably able to avoid it.

3
rabdargab 3 points ago +4 / -1

You are a moron. Go read the constitution or have someone explain it to you, and I highly doubt you even read 1984 if you think anything I said was doublespeak. Let me repeat myself since you seemed to have trouble understanding what I said, if you dont agree with the mask order then DONT WEAR A MASK. Its that fucking simple. The President does not have any authority to overrule the governors on this. All he can do is limit federal funding, and per the Supreme court he can only do that in specific instances, i.e limit federal funding for highways if a state doesnt want to comply with the federal drinking age.

2
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

health officials who are unelected are making "orders." I'm honestly not going to waste my time arguing with a person who thinks limiting movement and commerce etc based on covering your face in the USA.... is Constitutional.

1
rabdargab 1 point ago +3 / -2

thats probably for the best, you dont really have a point or solution, your just venting. I get it, I think its tyrannical of the governors too, but the constitution is pretty clear on this particular issue, and there isnt much the President can do about it, but not complying is something you can do about it.

3
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

The Constitution is being violated. AG stepping in is the solution.

2
Independenceforever 2 points ago +2 / -0

You are the solution.

Once you lead, then you call others to action.

I like your posts but totally think you are out of line here or missing the point.

2
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I am not out of line for wanting the President and AG to defend and enforce the Constitution of the United States.

2
Independenceforever 2 points ago +2 / -0

So don't comply!

He made a good point and you ripped in to him like he's Cuomo or something.

Know who your actual enemies are, people.

Go unplug and then come back refreshed.

2
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't comply. But just me not complying doesn't change it. Just me contacting officials doesn't change it. I'm doing what I can do short of violence, which wouldn't help at least not at this point.

4
MrSir 4 points ago +4 / -0

I just refuse. Outside of work anyway. I dont have to wear it unless the customer wants me to anyway. And most dont, but I do want that sale and if that makes them comfortable. That is fine.

My beef is with it being mandatory. Not the masks themselves.

4
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

yeah I don't wan to force people NOT to. But MANDATORY is bs.

3
Independenceforever 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hey bro lemme just share what I learned

If YOU don't do EVERYTHING like everyone here somehow expects POTUS to do FOR THEM, nothing will happen.

YOU are the answer. You are the secret weapon.

And learn how hard it is to please people who won't lift a finger. Just acting tough online.

3
jgardner 3 points ago +3 / -0

"You need to wear a mask."

"No I don't."

"Governor said so."

"So what? He has no authority."

"It's the law."

"I didn't vote on it. Besides, if it is the law, and I don't think it is, it's a stupid law, and I will not comply."

"There's an emergency!"

"Where? Where is the emergency?"

"COVID-19!"

"Pshaw. That's the common cold. Do you even read scientific papers? Because I do, and this thing hasn't killed anyone."

"But but but..."

"You've been fed a load of lies, you are following the governor's unconstitutional and unlawful orders, and now you want me to comply? I call that fascism. You're part of the problem."

3
Dudemanfoo 3 points ago +3 / -0

I AM doing something... I'm ignoring them!!!

2
imnotarobott 2 points ago +2 / -0

City mandate where I’m at. They are elected.

Keep cool though. Masks are nonsense, but, the loud portion of the population that they’ve put in a panic must be given its due.

If anyone is to blame it’s Fauci. I can still see him clearly saying ‘your mask protects me, my mask...’. As soon as he said that this was a foregone conclusion.

1
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why must they be given their due just because they are gullible idiots?

2
jdhbigdog 2 points ago +2 / -0

They want Trump and the federal government to step in and overturn the state government's BS...then they can pounce on him for interfering..these are state issues..not federal and POTUS knows this...that's why he's not going to do anything about it...he really can't do anything but tweet his concerns about it..the state electorate will have to speak up to the governors and get them to stop this...it will all backfire on them in the end..just have patience and watch what happens.

3
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

They are violating the Constitution.... freedom of movement, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, and commerce are all being denied based on an arbitrary piece of cloth on your face. It really doesn't get much more slam dunk cut and dry than this.

2
BoilingEnema 2 points ago +2 / -0

2

The cases and deaths are sky rocketing (however rigged the data is). They got what they wanted, a 'deadly enough' pandemic to use to shame people into wearing masks.

The worst thing about it is when you get these retards who RAGE OUT in the middle of stores and throw a tantrum because they refuse to wear a mask in a store. Don't give these assholes a fucking INCH. You will just become another meme and alienate moderates away from voting Trump.

Best thing to do is do it in numbers and in silence. They will pull out their phones and try to coax you into making a fool of yourself. Don't let them fuck with you.

1
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

So far I am just doing curbside whatever for everything if it's a situation where you can't get around it. Not a perfect solution and I hate it but I fucking hate wearing a mask even more.

-1
GBA4ever -1 points ago +5 / -6

Calling for the federal government to step in is no different than the leftards who want dictatorial federal control over everything.

7
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 7 points ago +8 / -1

Bullshit. State's rights and especially county health official rights are not above the Constitution.

1
GBA4ever 1 point ago +1 / -0

The people who elect the inept local leaders should have to live with the consequences of their votes and choose wisely.

4
ThomasGiferson 4 points ago +5 / -1

Read some books about the US political system.

1
GBA4ever 1 point ago +1 / -0

People affected by local decisions should have to live with the consequences. Calling in DC is fine with a President Trump, not so much with a Dem Marxist. Central control is very CCP.

2
ThomasGiferson 2 points ago +3 / -1

You also seem not to understand anything about the US Constitution or the US system of government. Jesus, our schools have really done a job on you.

Comparing federal superiority with the central control of the CCP shows you're a pretty bad troll.

1
GBA4ever 1 point ago +1 / -0

Superior how? Nothing about federal powers include regulating face mask policy in the Constitution.🙄

1
ThomasGiferson 1 point ago +1 / -0

What? That comment is so ridiculously incoherent I don't even know how to reply.

My claim is simply this. In our system, the US Constitution and federal law are superior to any state law or state constitutional law.

What about that do you disagree with?

1
GBA4ever 1 point ago +1 / -0

I find your comments incoherent. My original comment was to the original post screaming in ALL CAPS for the federal government to step in with a universal face mask policy. My reply was in a federalist system it’s up to the states and localities to set policy on face masks. For the same reason, the President has left it to each state to set reopening standards based on how they see things in their state. For the same reason the President has not sent in federal troops to war torn riot areas. There are no federal laws regarding face masks. If Nasty Nancy really was concerned she would be calling the House in to start the law making process. Unless pedes explain to the uninformed what their congressional reps aren’t doing anything and their state and local reps aren’t either, everyone will keep passing the buck to orange man bad.

1
ThomasGiferson 1 point ago +1 / -0

Jesus, man. You can't read, can't follow the logic of a thread.

"My reply was in a federalist system it’s up to the states and localities to set policy on face masks." No, that's not your reply. Not even close.
