I had never heard of the "we are the real Jews" thing and the "we have more melanin, so we're better" thing until the recent comments from DeSean Jackson and Nick Cannon.

The craziest part was to read comments on Twitter and see how many other African Americans agreed with what they said and were angry at them for walking back their comments.

I guess just crazy to me because I always assumed it was "white man keeping me down," but not, "white man keeping me down... because we are the chosen race and are superior and they don't want me to know it." And then to see how many had that extreme of a view. Eye opening.

Yup. It’s like the movie They Live. You put on the sunglasses and suddenly realize that a lot of black people straight up hate whites.

That's not crazy. I've been tuned into that stuff for over a decade. I've had coworkers talk to me about their Egyptian ancestors being space Pharoahs and shiiiit. It is extremely widespread, I'd say it is the predominant belief system in urban areas.
