Yes, starting Monday. I would boycott but I stopped going there about a year ago when I got tired of being treated like a criminal everytime I tried to leave the store.

I quit going to my local WalMart when they started having to have 2 sheriffs patrol the parking lot, the direct result of closing the WalMart less than 5 miles away that was getting looted on an hourly basis. So that clientele decided to make the journey to ours.

Ever been to a Walmart?

Yes sadly.

Honestly we should just buy the products we need straight from the manufacturers website. Cut out the middle man

you don't just keep walking? I've had their shitty magnet alarm go off, some chick who really didn't want to be there come up to me and ask to inspect my cart.

"No thank you" and keep right on walking.

Admittedly it is tougher on black friday, and given that the employees are there on a holiday, at night, amd dealing with a zoo, I DO wait for a receipt check. I'm not sure I should, but I'm not sure i shouldn't either. I consider my voluntary compliance on this one night every other year my Christmas gift to the worker.

They are not allowed to stop you anyway, as per corporate policy. Sam's club can insist on receipt check only because it's in the membership terms. Hell you could literally grab a TV off the shelf and walk out the door without them forcefully detaining you.

used to work for Walmart. the asset protection guy is allowed to stop you, but they've been cutting down on how many of those they have because its a salaried position and thus expensive. That said though are there any stores that dont require mask? i just googled and it looks like kroger, meijer, and woodmans are going to require it

I always did just keep walking. When I would get "random" receipt checks I'd just always say, "No thanks I already paid."

Last time I went there would be a line of two or three people waiting to get their receipt checked. I walked on past and the two "greeters" (a lady and a real big guy) try to stop me. I say my line without stopping. They ask again and I say the same thing. Then a customer says, "sir sir she wants to see your receipt." I say, "Well call the police then." I left and never came back.
