I am a tribal member and it does not make any sense at all why Tribal Governments, that receive federal funds, are allowed to contribute to ANY candidate or PAC.

It doesn't make any sense for any non-profit that receives federal money to be allow to give money to any political endeavor. In particular, Planned Parenthood gives lots of money that it receives from the federal government to political entities.

Indeed, I would also argue the same should apply for any corporation. So, Boeing, Lockheed, etc could not give money to political parties, candidates, PACs, etc.

100% this. Why are my tax dollars given to these non-profits, who then launder them to, let’s be honest here, Democrats?

These are not non-profit organizations. These are Tribal Governments that lobby for special privilege's for Indian.

I never suggested otherwise, I was reinforcing JoeBob's comment.

What is worse is that Tribes can write laws, enact taxes and are only subject to Federal laws.

Tribal corporations are given priority for government contracts in a "government to government" agreement. Many tribes have multiple corporations that allow them to funnel monies into local, state and federal elections.

If tribal nations are sovereign, wouldn’t their contributions be election interference like Russia?
