Grab Mel Gibson and get him back on the big screen

27
Mike0xquitelong 27 points ago +27 / -0

And John Voight and James Woods!

KuzoKevin [S] 18 points ago +18 / -0

James Woods should be Chairman of the Board.

16
xBigCoffinHunter 16 points ago +16 / -0

Vince Vaughn

KuzoKevin [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

I think a televised cage fight between Vince and James would be a great way to announce the studio to the public.

saw an interview with Mel Gibson from a couple years ago and he looked buzzed out of his mind. Couldn't sit still. Pretty weird to watch. But yeah love his work.

Take back the culture, one step at a time.

20
KuzoKevin [S] 20 points ago +20 / -0

Imagine being able to take your kids to a movie that didn't have a token gay couple and people stayed married. I'm thinking Hallmark Channel with good guys, bad guys, guns, car chases, and shit blowing up.

17
BarrBQ 17 points ago +17 / -0

For real. Just add explosions to the Hallmark Channel and I'm in.

Isolated_Patriot 12 points ago +12 / -0

I'm thinking Hallmark Channel with good guys, bad guys, guns, car chases, and shit blowing up.

I laughed, I cried, I laughed again, and cried some more. And then the van exploded and I cheered.

It's going to begin with small, independent film studios. You won't have big-budget summer blockbusters with a conservative slant for a while. Instead it will be small-budget dramas and comedies. But if they do well, more ambitious projects will follow.

RIB4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

Politics is downstream from culture. The culture must be taken back--it is imperative

20
The69thBrokage 20 points ago +20 / -0

It's starting. We're beginning to create two economies. The leftist one and the patriot one.

12
STEVE_HUFFMANS_BULL 12 points ago +12 / -0

The best thing is that they’ve already used all their possible weapons to stop us.

Boycott? laughs in Goya

Censor the project on social media? Already been doing that for years

Get the studio’s site kicked off the top level domain? Gab wants to know your location

Fuck it, cancel their payment processors? Already done

Seriously, what else can the left throw at this project that they haven’t already tried on someone else?

3
The69thBrokage 3 points ago +3 / -0

Precisely this. We know how to live without corporate help. Leftists can't. They can't do it. The sweetest part? They think THEY'RE the ones fighting against the corporations when they ARE the corporations.

14
Shhhhhut_the_hell_up 14 points ago +14 / -0

The dream.

9
KuzoKevin [S] 9 points ago +9 / -0

The more the left tries to control the message, the more true patriots will come out of hiding and fight back.

I want in on the IPO.

For one they'd actually focus on making a plot instead of being worried about including the extra π x 10^208 genders.

BarrBQ 7 points ago +7 / -0

10 / 10 would pay for quality conservative entertainment.

Frankwolfman 4 points ago +4 / -0

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a recording studio I work for. We’re super based and aware of the degeneracy of Hollywood and want to run against it. We have the talent and the building, but would need funding to compete at the national level.

I’ve been wondering about crowdfunding this project to get it going in weeks, not years. What do y’all think?

Heres a video I put out about a year ago. Its our depiction of the music industry and Hollywood as a whole.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw89-ftaC4c

Were located in Florida. Our quality has grown significantly since this, but were still not able to compete at that high tier of quality needed to replace the current industry.

Everybody_Lies 3 points ago +3 / -0

I haven't seen a movie in a theatre since the late nineties and I can't remember what it was!

3
pedewithweed 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh man I hope they put their HQ in florida

3
wakinc 3 points ago +3 / -0

I love it, but in my mind there's one major obstacle that has to be overcome: economics. Leftists are making 1 movie that will sell in the US and in communist china, one of the most lucrative markets for hollywood.

This studio would make 1 movie and only sell in the US Market (maybe Europe)? That means the income is lower and the budget is lower for actors, crew, location, etc.

The likely way to balance this is to impose a tariff or tax on studios that film or sell in China, but there are constitutional (1st amendment) and practical restraints there too.

Well, my job is easy - I just point out the problem. Now that MY work is done, can y'all think a solution?

7
KuzoKevin [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

If there is a market for the Hallmark Channel, there is a market for their husbands.

4
wakinc 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's a fair point. I'm not an expert on the Hallmark channel, but if it is what I think it is then we're talking about a pretty modest budget. You're not going to film Terminator 2 on Hallmark's budget

3
lostmyoldpassword 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would watch the shit out of a Hallmark version of T2.

2
KuzoKevin [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Probably not, unless aliens attack the Ingalls family in their meager sod dwelling on the prairie.

Pedowood films are overbugeted in the extreme and suffer for it. Their profit margin is also kinda on the slim side. Some of the absolute best movies to come out of there in decades have been shoestring budget passion projects by people who wanted to make something good.

Low budget movies with some of the quality talent that has been blacklisted from pedowood could be phenomenal films, and still make enough money to be profitable. They could potentially provide an overhead and single roof for all the Mel Gibson's, Kevin Sorbo's and soon to be Chriss Pratt's out there who've branched off to form their own studios for independent Christian films that rarely if ever see the light of day.

They don't have to produce the next crappy Marvel Movie, they don't have to pump out a billion dollar Transformers movie, they can budget 40 mil for a spy drama with the hopes of making a 100 back through small sales, and be just fine. But I think the market for a direct pedowood competitor is there like never before, and it could potentially be far more successful than that.

2
wakinc 2 points ago +2 / -0

Now that you mention it... didn't 300 have to go independent? And it rocked.

2
Isolated_Patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Most movies that pushed some kind of boundary ended up going indi, or at least getting an indi producer to back them. You'd never know it with the way they get latched onto and copied in one form or another. I don't remember 300 having a particularly large budget either, I could be way wrong though. Been a long time since that came out, sheesh.

2
SuperSilly 2 points ago +2 / -0

Call Keven Sorbo!

2
salvecitizen 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great. Maybe somebody will also make a plain old non-Left studio and concentrate on films that are just plain good. No cartoons, no degenerates. Some skilled actors and intriguing plot lines.

(But if Mel makes a film of Jesus descending to hell to liberate the souls, I will watch it in the theater.)

BurnedExperiment 2 points ago +2 / -0

Finally, somebody worth pitching a script to

Movies, TV, and documentaries should cast based on talent, fit for the role, etc. How these studios have gotten away with this for so long is mind boggling. Imagine the great works that have never ran because of these biases.

1
Jim_Webb_VP 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nice! No more degenerate crap, forced identity politics and leftists agendas. This is something I could really support.

1
freefolk 1 point ago +1 / -0

Basically, it's still a Woody Allen movie, except we have to hire a Jewish front man to represent us to circumvent the Liberal Hollywood blacklist and cancel culture. On the plus side the scripts will be effortless, since it's all Communist propaganda and revisionist history.

1
Jolo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Glenn beck, who i know has significant flaws, owns a large studio in Texas.

1
Industry4 1 point ago +1 / -0

YES!!!

WE. DON'T. NEED. THEM.

The left is gone, folks. We are going to have to create our own films, sports, banking, online department stores, etc... We can do it and it will be better than ever. There is no reason to support these anti-American commies. They are destroying everything and it is time for us to move on without them.

A great example is Roseanne. It was the #1 show in America before the left canceled it, and it was a mediocre show at best. The only reason people watched it was because Roseanne supported Trump. It is time to market to pro-American patriots and stop being scared of the left.

I'd buy that for a dollar!

I can't even tell you how much I would support this studio. I just want to watch a movie without having propaganda jammed down my throat.

BirchTBarlow 1 point ago +1 / -0

There's a whole market out there waiting to be served. It's 50% of America.
