I tried to get into NASCAR this year b/c I'm into F1, GT, and WEC.
NASCAR is really, really hard to watch. The biggest problem I have is the time commitment, these races are 4+ hours long. They need to quit having endless yellow flags and learn to race in the wet. Not pouring rain, but at least race in the wet. There have been a few races this season where they couldn't finish on Sunday so they postponed until Monday afternoon.
Imagine spending a few hours on Sunday only to learn there's no winner today. Gotta tune in on a workday afternoon b/c there's water on the track. It's fucking ridiculous that they can't complete a race within a 3-hour time window.
Anyway, I quit completely after the Bubba Bullshit. The sport itself has become a total joke.
