I'm literally right here in the middle of it. I moved out of Illinois to Wisconsin months ago because fuck Pritzker and his taxes. No regrets! Gonna keep Wisconsin red!
Loving it. It truly is a world of difference you wouldn't expect considering I'm not that far away. I don't even have to pay taxes on groceries, when Illinois taxed like 11%! Also, my new house is larger than my illinois one, same size lot, but taxes are less than half per year. Cant wait to experience all the other perks of being outside a fully blue state.
$192.4 Billion net negative for the entire country.
Nearly 5x the amount of money being produced.
apparently from the pensions and health insurance benefits for GOVERNMENT WORKERS. I don't blame the workers since they are just taking advantage of their jobs. The problem and blame is because of the jobs and the extreme unbalance.
Honestly, I would get rid of pensions and make it against the law if working in government, and schools that get funded by government.
That $2.5 Million could help the infrastructure here so much it is quite appalling. The only time I see anything get done in this state is when it is for the politicians in some form.
The thing I am thankful for is that people are starting to get aware. Glad I can still get those of 25 years or younger to think about it.
Donations for state elections should be exclusively limited to citizens of that state. No outside person, business or corporation that does business outside of that particular state should have no ability to donate to or have ANY SAY in elections in states that they are not a citizen of.
This is the point of insane candidates like AOC and Ohmar.
Ohmar is in the safest district in the US, a cat with a D next to its name would win by 20+ points. However, the rest of Minnesota is flipping hard red on local levels. All the money she makes in her DC lobbying (she hasn't lived in MN for a year) goes strait to these small elections in MN. There are local judges and sheriffs in rural Minnesota being funded by California fundraising efforts.

From my governor to your state. You’re welcome.
