What science exactly? That word seems to be used more and more as an all encompassing, unquestionable statement that needs no verification. Even the CDC website doesn’t have any conclusive scientific data that mask actually do prevent covid, it only says “it may.” So what science are you substantiating that stance with? Or are you just going by what the talking heads are telling you? Show me a study that proves the efficacy of masks and we can go from there, I don’t mind changing my position based on facts. Show it to me first but don’t just say science. There’s a lot of junk science out there.
I don't know if it's a lack of teaching what science is and isn't or if people just forget and start repeating the media falsehoods that make everyone think that "science" is the same as "fact".
Even POTUS has said to wear a mask and follow guidelines recently. CDC website does have conclusive evidence at the bottom showing that masks DO help based on the studies they provide. They use the word "may" due to the fact that we barely know anything about COVID19 to this day. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover-guidance.html
Are you here to learn something, or to pick a fight? Because you're not acting like someone who has sincere questions; you're acting like someone who just wants to argue.
