It is a tool of those in power to sow distrust in your fellow man. You can’t see their facial expressions, and you assume they are sick, and may infect you. This, as well as “social distancing” is a very eerie premise, and i won’t be subject to the dehumanization.
It’s a tool used to keep fear, even if subconscious, in your mind. If you see an entire room full of mask wearing people, you will, if only subconsciously, believe there is danger every time you go outside.
That fear can do wonders for controlling populations, along with the sense of distrust.
If I saw people dying in the streets and death everywhere, I’d be more apt to do it, but the death rate and average age of death lead me to believe that the social risks of wearing it are greater than the physical ones.
