But there's no "proven" science (science doesn't actually prove anything - which is sort of a separate matter) showing the efficacy of the masks. Studies fall on both sides so far.
CDC and GEOTUS have said to wear a mask, science and scientists are pretty much conclusive on this topic, masks DO work. If they don't what is even the harm? What's the worst that will happen when you wear one, you have less chance of dying and so do others around you?
