According to the news the Right is friendly with Russia. Apparently they helped us win an election by interfering. They had a whole years news cycle about it and everything.
Russia doesn't care about much of anything except for Russia itself. That's good and bad. If the US starts aiding ISIS in Syria, Russia won't stand for it and will go after ISIS which is a good thing. If the US wanted to put a government better than Assad's in Syria (basically anything that's not ISIS), Russia wouldn't stand for that either because they have a deal with Assad, which would be a bad thing.
If Russia can make money for Russia in an immoral way they will because they want to make money for Russia. We sanction North Korea, but Russia will take essentially slave workers from North Korea and pay Kim Jong Un for it. Think of Russia just doing things for Russia. If Russia could bribe American politicians for a benefit that exceeds the bribe, they will.
why are we not allowed to be on good terms with Russia?
