This site has made me laugh so many times. Love the memes on it. T_D is the first place I ever actually contributed memes to. Most are half-assed but I'm sure some people laugh at them.

I bailed on Cracked, Cheezburger, Gawker, PC Gamer, and a few others that I can't even remember. All used to be funny at one point (or at least informative). Now they're absolute totalitarians that push out propaganda and ruthlessly exterminate any comment with an opposing opinion.

On Independence Day a neighbor from the next block brought over a bunch of fireworks.
We had a few for the kids initially. Then this lady comes walking by on her way to the store and says hi. On her way back she offers to give the kids a few things to light off. We follow her to her shed where there are piles of fireworks. Mortars, Rockets, Roman Candles, Buzz Bombs, Bottle Rockets, Cakes, and more. She hands each kid a couple smaller things, we say thanks and head home. Then she comes over two times with armloads of stuff. Even a couple of the Cakes. We were lighting fireworks off for nearly three hours. It was awesome!

Yep! A Karen in my city made a post on the Next door app with information about how to report businesses and individuals for noncompliance. I explained that a much healthier idea would be to get a hobby or volunteer. And that destroying a business with the ridiculous fines could place people out of work, leave families homeless, etc. I also explained that in this country, no one is forced to visit a business that makes people uncomfortable. It fell on deaf ears.
That app is social credit cancer. I had an anon account and as soon as I started one small redpill post about personal responsibility and the government “rent deferment fund” not paying to keep people from eviction the liberals lost their shit.

I read a piece a few years back (2017/2018-ish) that Donald Trump has really knocked down the barrier between politics and everyday life.
The piece compared Trump against Obama; Obama was hailed as "the new progressive step in American history", "the first black President" blah blah. In reality, how many people viewed his terms as "an everyday man got into the White House"? How many viewed it as "another politician"?
Trump victory, in contrast, was (and still is) being viewed as a citizen getting into the White House, and since an everyday man had managed to win, he "broke" the norm, because "a regular citizen was not supposed to gain access to one of the highest Offices of the Land".
In short, Trump's victory challenges the old viewpoints, and a lot of people don't like it.

The problem with the mask scam is it will never end, this isn't a fight to "lower the curve" you'll never take it off. The virus won't just walk off into the sunset, it's here forever now. The point of forcing people to accept the mask is to make them accept the vaccine.

How do they still not understand that there will be no end. We already flattened the curve, contracted cases have leveled off despite increased testing (and most likely down if it weren't for the multitudes of false positives), and deaths are way down. If not now, when? When there are no more contracted cases (aka never because it's a virus and viruses mutate--that's just how they work)?

I went grocery shopping today without a mask and was surprised no one, not even the designated rule enforcer at the door, said anything. I kept thinking about what I would say when someone mentioned I don't have on a mask - I have a medical condition. I have asthma. Masks work, right? Then why do you care if I'm not wearing one when you're protected? Non-fitted masks don't filter pathogens. Etc... I was the only one not wearing a mask. Though I did see a bunch of people wearing theirs improperly.
