I think there is nevertheless a need to keep rebutting liberals even if you can't convince them rather than to resign yourself that they won't understand and stay silent. First, a lot of the ignorance flourishes because people post this kind of stuff to virtue signal to their echo chamber thinking (mostly correctly) that they will just get pats on the back from others. Constantly haranguing them undermines their motives and should result in less BS from them over time. Second, people out there susceptible to reason as well as unformed minds looking for a place to belong need to see facts and logic and the people who stand by them. You are speaking past your mother and having an impact on others whether you realize it or not.
