same reason a leftist publication puts something out then meekly writes a small retraction or disclaimer 17 paragraphs in when caught. the initial shock does the damage then their useful idiot consumers can say "oh yeah they had to put a disclaimer in because the snowflake dRumpFs cried about it" but they still believe every word the original said and that's what gets passed around
I think it's not really complaining...? I almost feel like I'm a member of a tribe and some black explorers just found us and after very intense research, found out I like steak and potatoes.
