Teachers used to be the highest calibre of society. It changed over the years, to a lower-end/pay occupation based on credentials and no results. It’s a shame for good teachers who want to teach. It’s frankly over. Scott Adams, as others are right about the future of education, COVID or not, it’s going online, universal access, high-production quality and massive competition which will only improve the results. Kids will need centers for monitored social interaction, tutoring, mentoring, and any training ‘labs’ that involve hands-on activities with equipment which will be teachers new role.
