I've often wondered what r/t_d would have been like during the 2016 election without the active suppression. The suppression that first started in r/politics and then followed to t_d itself once it was created for discussion when r/politics was no longer viable, and nothing else was suitable.

You got to wonder if they are trying to build a high score account to sell to dems closer to the election. I know that happens on reddit a lot. Use copy posts to build karma, then sell the established account for other purposes. I didn't think those accounts would be as valuable on the .win network as they would have less of a chance to spread propaganda, but you never know.
Reddit is not a country, it is not a land of our ancestors nor is it a land of our children. It's a few files on a server. There is no reason, at all, to stay and 'defend it.' We should do exactly what we've done, leave the filth behind to rot away.

I expected to start seeing really high numbers here without the manipulation and brigading that was (allegedly) occurring on Reddit. So now that it's free from suppression, where are the numbers to correspond? I'm not seeing it. A 7K top post is not much different than we saw on TD. Am I wrong?
Not wrong at all. It was obviously heavily exaggerated because even it was mildly exaggerated we would be seeing way higher numbers than we do currently. You have to take most things you see on Reddit and even here with a grain of salt. A lot of headlines are constantly exaggerated or misconstrued from T_D to R/Politics. It is up to the individual to actually look into the story to see the whole picture.
It is possible that the subscriber number was much higher than reported but still not have the upvotes. Look at any channel on any forum or YT. The actual views are many times a tenth of subscribers. I imagne many people subscribed to TD on reddit since they were already on the platform. Only the very active ones moved to here
