My local bar doesn't serve food but to get around the shutdown they teamed up with the pizza place a few doors down. As long as everybody had a slice of pizza in front of them they could drink at the bar. Sometimes a slice would get passed around as people left and more people came in.
Unsanitary but it was the work around. Kind of funny actually.
Another bar just had a taco shop in the parking lot.
Get local food truck operators set up in the parking lot to skirt the rules and satisfy those beer munchies. Un-fucking-believable that this is what it's come to. In my commie city, bars/restaurants can't be open past 10pm. Why?! How does that make ANY sense?? Aren't you just compressing the amount of time people can go out, thus driving more people into the same close quarters at once? Then I look at the absolute fucking morons making these rules and suddenly it makes sense...
