Michigan has the same type of thing. I think here it's if 70% or more of sales are from alcohol they can't be open

Yeah I don't get how serving a coke is any different than serving a beer. I fucking hate liberal logic.

Because it's not logic, it's... nothing.

It's not nothing, it's vile abuse of power and treason. It is also an attempt to destroy our way of life and influence an election.

*Fascist logic.

No, really, no sarcasm.

Telling businesses what they can and cannot sell or else they get shut down is fascist as fuck.

And of course, antifa terrorists only care about Trump, who wants us to be free to practice our businesses and religions how we want. When there are literal fascists in the country, they side with them.

Shitposter69 21 points ago +21 / -0

Not only the businesses, but also the police. Here in Michigan some gyms opened in defiance but the cops were called and I believe both the businesses and the gym goers were fined. Dictator Whitmer is 100% a facisct, and not like how the libtards call us "fascists".

I see you explained the fascists part, care to explain the logic part? Lol

Amaroq64 3 points ago +3 / -0

I noticed they stopped calling Trump a fascist literally the instant he technically became one by invoking the emergency powers.

Now they think he wasn't fascist enough or he didn't fascist correctly.

Because beer has alcohol, which kills the virus.

Shitposter69 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'd argue that every meal be served with high proof bourbon then. At least, I'd be ok with that.

Gargle whisky... kills virus in the area where it likes to multiply before infecting lungs.

It’s how to make people as miserable as possible. If this were Frostpunk they went full New Order but there’s no storm on the horizon.

3
Metallicity 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hey, good Frostpunk reference! Miserable people huddling in the cold -- sounds like Michigan.

Pau1F01ey 1 point ago +2 / -1

Thank you! And nah. Sounds like CT in winter or maybe, God forbid, Lib run Alaska.

Not defending it, but I think the idea is that nobody NEEDS to go out for a beer or cocktails. But people do need to eat food.

3
Paul_Revere 3 points ago +3 / -0

But they don't necessarily have to eat it in restaurants.

Don't try to decipher commie "reasoning" with logic. There isn't any.

That’s how you get bars that sell $15 “bags of pretzels” that coincidentally come with two free bottles of beer

That's how benefits came to exist too.

I don't remember the specifics, but the government imposed a wage freeze or something, so the capitalists just found something else to pay their workers with.

And if I'm not mistaken, a big reason why everyone's medical insurance is tied to their jobs is because employers don't pay taxes on benefits, so through your employer is the only way to get tax-free health insurance.

Ted Cruz is trying to combat the latter by pushing a medical insurance savings account that you own, that doesn't get taxed when your employer pays into it, and that you can use to buy any medical insurance you want, which would divorce medical insurance from employers.

LOL reminds me of the old days when ticket scalping was illegal, vendors for many years would sell crap like pencils for $100 that came with "free" concert tickets.

Same with California but with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hearing it increases your risk for CHINA-19

deplorable-d00d 19 points ago +19 / -0

Singing about it in church will suddenly kill puppies and babies.

Oh wait, they don't care about killing babies.

11
TNpedefosho 11 points ago +11 / -0

The gospel teaches us not to rely on our government. Of course it increases the risk for Communism-19

2
MadMaxUSMC 2 points ago +2 / -0

It also increases your risk of not becoming a liberal sheep.

Cali-argen 14 points ago +14 / -0

I remember traveling to Utah and they had some dumb rule like that. You couldn't just buy a drink, you had to buy food if you wanted to get a drink. So this one place would sell $6 basket of chips with a free beer
