Yeah it’s exactly the same here in NC, and there’s food permits and all that. But dammit, at least one of the bars I frequent has been extremely cop friendly for the past 7 years offering unlimited free Red Bull and Water bottles to any officer patrolling the “drinking area” I know they’d look the other way. Plus this whole thing is so ridiculous, every restaurant operating as a bar after 7pm and the Gov acts like he cares about “social distancing” when every place is violating 50% capacity and it’s make WAY more sense to allow everywhere to open, so that people could actually spread out if you’re concerned about 6 ft apart.
Speaking of cops looking the other way, we’re worried about violating a city ordinance or an illegal government EO, when 3 blocks away cops are getting shit thrown at them and their cruisers nightly for weeks and they want to kneel down. At some point we gotta fight back somehow.
I’ve been telling my friends who own bars to charge people a dollar for pretzels and open up. They’d rather bitch and moan on Facebook.
PA requires a 'meal,' so some bars are doing $1 hot dogs or uncrustables. Chips and pretzels are not enough to protect from 'Rona apparently.
