I been looking to buy an Explore Interceptor package and they sell new around $42,000 near me. Add the lights, sirens, comms, other electronics, cameras, gear, etc, and it’s probably double the initial purchase price. $80k+ doesn’t sound so far off.

It's probably way more than that. The custom gear tends to cost a LOT more than the mass produced stuff, cause of low volume.
