This sounds pretty concern troll-y to me. For what it's worth my mother in law and cousin work with elderly patients as nurses. Cousin has three covid patients right now. They agree wholeheartedly and affirm that the hysteria is completely overblown. P.S. Cousin took an updated test on the virus last week and one of the answers explicitly stated that masks are unhelpful the way almost everyone uses them. I saw it.
I knew it would come off that way but I’m just not sure if I’m reading right or maybe I’m wrong about things.
Out of the 5 people I know who have/had it, 3 have been in the hospital and say it’s the real deal.
I know masks only protect from splatter (barely) but you can still get sick it just helps a little bit. If they don’t work at all with the virus, why wear them? I guess to make you feel better? It’s a part of PPE at work and that’s what I’ve learned in my career as well.
