I think everyone should be free to do as they please. If you or someone you live with is high risk, you should take any and all precautions you see fit.

If I had a little baby to care for I would wear a mask, gloves, take my clothes off at the door, shower and be all kinds of OCD about cleaning every surface...but I don't, so I'm not.

Precautions that "you" feel are necessary, and rightfully so, do not necessarily constitute a necessity to others.

IMO and contrary to others', hold a belief that human beings are born with the right to an opinion, and I feel that a vaccine, which we don't even have, for a mutating virus is not likely going to 100% wipe this virus out ever. I believe that herd immunity is the only way out.

I am not trusting of all the vaccines. I’ve been vaccinated and my child has. I have read, been told and feel more comfortable to space out the vaccines.

As for a China virus vaccine, I wouldn’t get it. I didn’t want my child to get a flu shot either but my husband was there at the doctor and did it. Thank Goodness baby wasn’t sick. I myself don’t get the vaccine anymore. This is my first baby and it’s a lot to learn and sometimes I don’t understand 100% so I come here :)

I guess I feel that I would stay away from my job or coworkers if they had the flu and that’s how I’m treating CV. But the fact that since my job says CV is serious and they put my “my life at risk” by not telling us we were exposed, then fuck them, right?

I'm not against any vaccines, but I have never had the flu shot.

I can count on less than one hand every time I have the flu in my 40+ years, so why bother.

Like I said I would be overly cautious, with a newborn, until we get this all sorted out, but that's just me. You said above you could be a SAHM. I would.

MEMEs are one thing, but a baby is another.

I do appreciate that you made this post. People should never just follow along due to a fear of not conforming to the group think. You should ask questions! Your questions should never be mocked! You have a god given right to speak out and have an opinion/concerns.

As u/ImpeachedDeplorable said above, I would just trust your pediatrician....and make a family decision with your husband.
