Maybe not overtly, but honestly ask yourself - are they subconsciously? Do they have the racism of low expectations?
Do they treat black people like children without agency? Do they act like 'uplifting' black people is 'the white man's burden'? Do they tolerate lower standards of behaviour among black people than white? Do they support affirmative action, and lower college grade requirements for black people?
My city and industry are almost entirely left-wing. This is how almost everyone I know behaves. And none of them have any black friends or partners either.
Fair enough, but left does not mean liberal. The DNC has been taken over by the left. We agree that the DNC is horrible.
But there are some liberal Democrats that are stuck. I was one of them 2 years ago. I was able to escape, but let's not write them all off. They would be great allies against the left.

Lots of Democrats are racist like that.
I'd hesitate from grouping folk in a box like that. The same is done by the left all the time to conservatives and that's equally unfair.
Those are policies that are widely supported by democrats. It isn't unfair to point out how racist it is to hold and support those ideas.
While we hesitate to describe them as such they are using censorship and violence to force those ideas down our throats. Fuck that.
