All it would take is for Conservatives to stop wearing them immediately. If you have to wear them at work, I don't want someone fired for something that moronic. Same thing with a doctor's office. If they require one and you have to see a doctor, that's still moronic, but fine. I'm talking about everywhere else in public. Supermarkets, department stores, hardware stores, etc.
If half of the people in the store stop wearing them, it will spread and the masks go away. The police aren't going to issue summonses or tickets or whatever empty threats they're issuing to everyone. Just like stores aren't going to throw out half of their customers.
I've been doing my part. Today at the supermarket I saw only three other teenage girls not wearing one. Sadly, I don't think it was in protest. I just think they didn't care. Conservatives have to do better than this.
