Your concerns are perfectly understandable, maybe we should have talked with the modteam before publishing the first release, we have now gotten in contact with them and are trying to get official permission to share the addon.

I know the developer personally (he always was a lurker), we've been testing WES and talking about new features for about week now.
The concerns are understandable, I've been a TD user for many years now and i can assure you it is safe to use.
Please post your suggestions for future versions (even if you don't trust it right now).
