If Lewis was such a "lion" for the CRA (which Democrats proudly delayed for decades) y didn't the DNC ever rig POTUS primaries for him?

They picked Bill Clinton last election & Biden now who both worshiped KKK Senator Byrd.

DNC never considered Lewis for POTUS. He was more qualified (by their standards).They don't even believe in their own principles.
