Though if ambushing someone with a taser and dismembering them in their home ( after stealing from 100k from them) isn't first degree murder then nothing is first degree murder.
Imagine you're this guy. You've just been caught stealing $100,000 from your boss. You're freaking out. But he doesn't call the police. Instead, he sets up a payment plan for you to get the money back to him.
You could take that $100,000 you stole and start a side business or invest it, keep working for him, follow his repayment plan, and come out ahead in all this. This is an opportunity a lot of people wouldn't have, and you don't deserve it since you stole your way into it.
