It's a dumb cult. Even if the allegations that bureaucrats suck and collude at sucking are true, the "Q" guy is most likely a LARPer, not an actual figure in the government. I was present when the original forum thread was live and being familiar with imageboard culture, the post that started it all reads like somebody roleplaying while making educated guesses. Heck, my eyes skated over that post like butter, and I was visibly confused when old people started referring to it all of a sudden.

I have no clue how old people even found out about imageboards but even if they kept it financially afloat by not understanding adblocking, their presence was generally obnoxious and embarrassing as they clearly did not fit in the community and they bogged down the servers with their technological illiteracy.

E: I mean, there are positive things no doubt from the community; the members are proactive, more so than most conservatives, but their intentions, while good, are ultimately inspired by something nonexistent.
