To address your question directly, I don't think they are in general, but those that are are a noisy minority trying to make like their opinion is shared by the wider group.
If anyone puts up a sign and says 'don't look here', or 'don't investigate this', or 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain', my instinct is that perhaps the sentiments are not particularly genuine.
For all the accusation of 'cultishness', find me a cult that above all else mandates that people think for themselves, that they reason things out on their own. Never happened right? Maybe anti-cult is a better label.
And that brings a correlation with other dissident thought schools, like this very site and the people who are here and support POTUS. Somehow everyone here overcame the constant lies, distortions and misrepresentations of the mainstream media.. looking behind the curtain, discerning the hard truths for themselves.
When the most sceptical and cynical, hardened and bitter cliques of internet image boards are down with the cause and have been swayed, maybe there is something going on..

There are plenty of resources around covering post archives and cross-references, the historical underpinnings of predictions made and responses done, why the necessity for back-channel comms setup, why the fake-news media hates it but fears to Ask The Question of Trump, what Q-proofs are, why information warfare has to incorporate elements of agitprop, of hollow threats to induce the enemy (who is monitoring the same channel) to expend ammunition and political capital for no gains.. its no small topic.
