Essentially they used more phonetic spelling of the way his name was pronounced in Europe. Dr vs T and pf vs p. So slightly softer T and softer p. Pronounced like maybe Melania does anyway. That's it. "TdumPf." Now that I think about it, it probably does reflect the phonetic spelling of how Melania pronounces her own name.
But say the phonetic spelling, with an american accent, by emphasizing the D, make it a softer R and emphasize the F, they claim, it is a silly name he should be embarrassed by.
So this is an attempt to make fun of how Trump would have been pronounced with a "closer" phonetic spelling. And that means ORANGE MAN BAD.
There's a very current example of this in hollywood right now, Shawn from Psych is going back to using his real last name, Rodriguez instead of his stage name he created to sound more american, Roday.
He is treated as a hero.
And yet, they treat Trump's family name that they changed to sound more American as an insult.
