They are more terrified of threats to funding (aka lawsuits and homeschooling). Teachers have no power over policies but you bet your ass angry parents do. I need every parent to become “that parent” and get into your local school’s principal’s masked face and rip him/her a new one. Asshole parents move a school.

Thank you Anthony, I will take your suggestion and find a private school. But having said that, I would add that the parents need to get more involved in what schools are teaching your kids, What books are they reading? If it is something that you don't feel your child should be taught, confront the school, go to the board of education get involved. Sit through a class with your child. Talk to the teacher and find out what the curriculum is about. It's your child, but our future so please help.

School teachers were always lefties, my high school teacher taught US history class that Carter was an independent not am Democrat. I was confused when I found out he was D.
