“Reparations” were paid in the blood of Americans who died fighting to end slavery. Anyone who thinks they are owed more can go to hell. All of these leftists clamoring for a race based handout are scum.
They could always go back home to Africa, nothing's changed since they left.
Ghana offered to take any that wanted to come.
And the fifty trillion dollars, trillion with a T, in welfare and entitlements for the last few decades.
It's the stupidest idea ever anyway. There are people winning the lottery every month, sometimes many times more over that $151 million.
Wanna know what they fucking do with it ?
The vast majority (need an actual source) fucking squander it within a couple of months, and some even end up way worse than before because they spend it on dumb shit that has an upkeep cost (insurance, taxes, maintenance ...) they can't afford once the winnings run out.
Gimme a fucking break, this would absolutely not result in any significant life changing effect for a huge portion of the recipients.
Scott Adams envisioned an alien from outer space that could be a neutral arbiter for reparations.
He imagined we'd give the alien: "Here's the economic records of black Americans, and here's the economic records of white Americans."
And the alien would say: "Why are you giving me the economic records of white Americans? That is superfluous information. What we need is the economic records of Africans who were not transported to America."
That guy is kind of clever. (That's a racist dog whistle)
Sometimes you wonder if the people pushing for reparations like this even think. The US dollar is a fiat currency. Its lost 90% of its value in the past half century alone. As of 2010, there were 38.9M African American citizens in the US. Thats about 5,889,000,000,000,000 dollars. Total GDP of the United States is only 21,000,000,000,000 dollars. Pass such legislation and the US dollar will have more value as kindling than currency.
They know the math, they know it can't be conceivably paid at once. They want white people to be generational tax slaves.

But these people are either Marxists, savages, or both. They aren't capable of considering things like "likely" or "reasonable", they are creatures of Greed and Sloth. They only know their perverse desires and that's the extent of their ability to think.
The "they" sticking their hands out for gibs, and the "they" devising and writing up these plans, are very different groups of people.

Black Americans owe the rest of us money, because they have a lot more wealth than Blacks who stayed behind in Africa. By global standards, they are wealthy, and it's time they thanked America by sharing that wealth with the rest of us.
The country of Liberia was even created to repatriate former slaves to Africa
Money isn't the remedy. Demonstrated respect, good government, and equal application of the benefits of our government are the remedies we need.
Trump applied those, which is why he is watching black unemployment like a hawk, and established Opportunity zones.
And yet lets give money to people who were never slaves!

How about go ahead and give who ever wants it the 151 million after renounce their citizenship and agree to a deportation in which they and all their descents are barred from ever entering or immigrating to this Nation ever again.
After all their citizenship is a direct result of their slavery. Let them go "be kings' and "build great civilizations" in Africa or anywhere else that will take them.
