I think we kind of agreed that someone may use it as a tool in which case it becomes real in a sense. No denying that it is popular in theological circles.
however, I still contend that it's BS, particularly in calculating the number of the beast & the weaker version of it also (Reagan is regarded as 666 in the weak form)
one of the primary issues (of many) is that English as we know it did not exist nor was a primary linguistic concern of the author (re: 666)
No I agree.....but the point is, for example we do not believe in Islam, therefore the chances of us blowing yourself up while ululating are slim, but some people do and will gladly blow themselves up
