After Trudeau I have zero faith in the Canadian system. I don't necessarily blame all Canadian voters (except people who vote Liberal no matter what) but rather the system that doesn't allow me to pick my leader.
For any non-Canadians, you vote for your local Federal representative in your district. If enough of that party wins, your area (or town) becomes that colour (of political party). At no point do you choose the leader of that party, however. The party YOU elect chooses THEIR leader, who becomes YOUR leader.

I won't make it in time to elect GEOTUS but I don't think I plan on being a Canadian by the time the next election rolls around.
