A shot to the legs or feet would be likely to miss and ricochet unpredictably, striking the bystanders behind him. The legs get a ton of blood flow, so a leg shot can still be lethal. Personally, I would rather get shot in the chest than lose a kneecap, both are survivable, but a knee shot will maim you much worse. permalink save report block reply
