I live in Kootenai county (Idaho) with an estimated 165k people. Throughout this "pandemic", you know how many people have died from Covid under the age of 80? Zero. Not one death. If you look at the obituaries, people have died from all sorts of illnesses that makes Covid-19 look like child's play.

Yet, business have been shut down or have absurdly stupid rules that's crushing their bottom line.

I've started talking to business owners and actually changed some of their minds about these fucking masks and all the social distancing, as most of the owners are just acting out of fear.

So here is what I've done and what you can do, as both a patriot and Trump supporter.

First off, be completely non-confrontational! As much as I hate the MSM and their lies about Covid, business owners should be forgiven for falling for this. Many of them get threatened with lawsuits and are walking on eggshells. I like to break the ice by asking them if they themselves decided to shut down, or if they were shut down by the local gov't. All of them said they shut down on their own.

Next, know the facts in your area. Look up how many deaths Covid has caused vs how many deaths other illnesses have caused. Chances are, Covid is next to last as far as deaths are concerned. So now Covid can't be an excuse. They never changed their business practices for other illnesses, so changing them for a less dangerous one makes zero sense.

If they tell you that NOT forcing employees to wear masks might make some people uncomfortable, remind them how much seeing employees wearing masks makes YOU, a paying customer, uncomfortable. Ask the owner if THEY want to see every employee being muzzled when they go to their favorite establishment. Every single owner I've asked said they don't.

Point out that some establishments have BANNED anyone entering from wearing a mask because it conceals their identity. If "no shoes, no shirt, no service" is a thing, then businesses have just as much right to not allow face concealing masks in their establishment.

Make sure that they understand that you are on their side! You want to see their business flourish, not operate at half capacity or less. Remind them that they took the risk, they did the planning, and they deserve to operate at full capacity.

If everyone here just changed the mind of a few owners, we can open up massive parts of the country. If everything stays closed, people will blame the economy on Trump and his reelection chances go way down. And no one here wants puppet Biden as president.
