Moderna vaccine is supposed to create antibodies like those in COVID survivors. This seems to be a long way around, try to stimulate your body to create antibodies that will then kill the virus. I also understand that it contains many ingredients and actual antibodies. Considering the power of the media and the sheep, you may be disappointed in buying puts on the stock. Especially when you have no idea of the timeline involved. Personally, I like the approach of Sorrento. They have already identified the most promising antibodies from the known database of existing antibodies. 3 they selected have can smother the virus, adjust to mutations, and prevent cell attachment. I am not an expert, but the simplicity of just taking an antibiotic seems to be more user friendly. They were so excited on May 15 they overstated the possibilities and are being sued for false claims of having a "cure". That sort toned down their publications and announcements. But it is antibodies alone, no DNA changing vaccination. I would like to buy some calls on SNRE but again the expiration date would be a huge factor. Just guessing the Dec 17 or Jan 17 calls would be my buy. It has climbed from $5 to $7-8 in the last 3 weeks. So I will take these over predicting the failure of Moderna, even if it is all hype.

I agree with your take to some extent. If good news from AstraZeneca comes on Monday, this will not be good for Moderna.

mRNA is a revolutionary tech, that would upend the vaccine industry as we know it. Injections of human software to fight infectious disease, SaaS model in medical. This delivery method allows you to rapidly prototype vaccines with just the genetic sequence, from my limited understanding.

Tal Zaks, Cheif Medical Officer of Moderna, has sold $40 million-plus in shares in the past two months.

Watch the clip below, this was after dumping all of those shares. He is nervous as shit throughout the whole interview. Does not sound confident at all, IMO.

Moderna can crash just as fast as it went up.

I will be watching AstraZeneca with you. Injections of human software to fight infectious disease sound spooky, like some runaway zombie apocalypse. Seeing a Chief Medical officer dumping stock, a strong short indicator.

BOOM, BOOM and BOOM.

Think it would be safer to strike after the election. Longer term but gives time for COVID to fall by the wayside. Eventually there won’t be any new cases and then nobody will give a fuck.

you mean to short it, right?

the stock market feels like a bubble to me. stocks are higher at 11% unemployment than it was 3%. what do you think?

There will be a discussion about making the vaccine mandatory or not. This will be a factor also. left or rigt media companies will ask for mandatory because they are paid by the big pharma. that discussion will be real ugly. mask discussion will be small time compared to that.

Yes shorting. I'm buying cheap put contracts @ $40-65 strike and July/August expiration.Read the report, phase one was not without issues.

I just think mRNA tech, which they have been developing since 2010 for other diseases, is slightly better than vaporware and possibly dangerous. Covid gives Fauci/NIH and Moderna the green light to push mRNA tech into phase 3 trials, something that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
